maybe you are right about his change of character although I don't find it realistic. as for the flashback, they were inconsistent with general tone of the show and it didn't blend well. plus I've watched similar plot MANY times. the 2.5 eps were wasted. .

lol flashbacks does not make sense. it was typical, predictable and boring.
also ml is totally different person?? even before the tragic???? you cannot call it a transformation.

I agree at some points but this "he's still working on making his startup work and he would essentially let Yumi suffer with him and ultimately freeze to death than sell his game or go back to corporate." has nothing to do with Yumi, he shouldn't change career for her.
