Well to begin with I liked the drama and enjoyed watching Bok Dong Hee and Grace's sismance... My favourite character…
Haven't watched the show yet but what you're talking about is a pretty common problem in stories with Time-Travel. Especially those that do not take multiverses into account. (That's why Marvel popularized the concept of multiverses to fix these 'loopholes')
Since, if the universe is a singular domain and if we assume that TIME is linear -- then things that happened will always happen no matter what changes you try to make because the changes you make already did happen and you just don't know it yet.
that would mean that the only reason you'd want to save someone from danger is BECAUSE you 'think' they'll die if you don't. Not because they already died and you want to save them in the past so they can be alive in the present. If they're already dead, then they'll stay dead no matter what you do.
which is why the most common theme in the past time-travel movies back in the late 80s to early 2000s is that "You can never change what happened because it's already supposed to happen even in the future-past. The only thing you're doing by going back in time is to witness it again from a different perspective."
I feel like the producers are still suffering from their success with TRAIN TO BUSAN. Everything they popped out after it was just lackluster. Even this one... who knows if it's a budget problem or an effort problem?
I mean, I still liked it but all the faults their other works had was also present in this one. Mainly 3 things: • PACING • EMOTIONS • and CINEMATOGRAPHY
they already nailed those three things with TRAIN TO BUSAN but then they kept experimenting with new pacing 'styles' which inevitably f****s up the emotional scenes because you can't really empathize when shits all over the place and they keep using 'hollywood-esque' action shots when they didn't in TTB. I mean, TTB's camera angles were so much better than the ones they keep doing recently.
where is everyone watching the show? I'm watching it on viu but i heard that it's the cut version and there's…
The "longer" version just has a bunch of copy-pasted scenes throughout the episode (mostly previews)... I guess they decided to cut them out to make way for more commercials...
it doesn't really alter the viewing experience that much. I actually think the "shorter" version flows better.
Solid 7/10 for me. Definitely worth watching at least once if you're into action-revenge movies.
Not sure what the others giving it a 5 and below were expecting but... seriously though? I could name a bunch of movies from the same genre that are waaaay worse than this.
the only reason I can think of as to why they were giving it that low of a score is because they're comparing it to other genres... and that's just unfair. Even I'd also give it a 5 or a 4 if I were to include all other genres.
Could've been better "paced". The last 3 episodes felt a bit rushed... I think it was because it was beginning to be a bit too predictable and they really couldn't add anymore twists or mysteries so they had no choice...
great story telling from Ep 1~8 though.... started fast forwarding a bit from 9~end.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with how the romance(s) turned out but...
I do think that this is first and foremost a SLICE OF LIFE Drama, Romance second... therefore, they tried to put more emphasis into the usual: "HATRED IS A PRISON IN WHICH ONLY LOVE CAN BREAK YOU FREE" thingy...
it was messy tho... there were some obvious inconsistencies especially in the first few episodes... and then they decided to package the "conclusion" in the last 3 episodes but it felt like they were still trying to continue the story at the same time which was weird. There was a lot of unnecessary scenes which could've been just a part of the mid season episodes.
I started skipping through episode 7 and then just kind of dropped it. I didn't really feel much depth to the…
Exactly! I think I also started skipping a lot starting Episode 7. Hence, the 1/3. It almost felt like there was nothing else to 'see' from that point on. But I really like Kim Ok Bin so I just powered through it while skipping most parts until I reached the ending.
Just finished binging this and it was pretty good. It's pretty much a generic romcom but the cast definitely makes this a good watch. Especially Kim Ok Bin. I haven't really watched a lot of her stuff, maybe just 3~4? but I really really like her whenever I see her appear on Variety Shows.
also... I don't know if it's because I've watched too many Kdramas already or if I'm just getting more impatient as I become older but I fast forwarded thru almost 1/3 of the entire show.
Anyone have any info if there;s gonna be a SEASON 2 for women dancers again?? I was hoping to see BADA LEE, SORI NA, MAY J LEE and some other badass choreographers >_<
I really like the Visual FX and the Story!! the acting could be better but at least it's not awkward, I'd still give this a 9/10 just based on the first two episodes!
Is it good? What drama do you think is this similar to? I might watch it if it's similar to ones I liked.
Okay, I just watched the first episode. It's quite good ^_^
To be honest, the poster was quite off-putting. It's extremely lacking in character and doesn't seem to have a strong/clear message. (I've been competing in poster-making contests back in 2003~2009 so I guess I'm just a little picky.)
But I'm glad I watched it. Going for episode 2 now. =)

Imagine how different Germany could be now...
both Nations were known for their savagery... but only one got Nuked.
There are definitely plenty of good reasons for people to ship them.
but yeah... I also don't see it happening. Compassion isn't exactly a good recipe for starting a romantic relationship.

but then I realized... they were actually two different people. trololololol
