Seriously, the first BL drama to receive a perfect 10 from me for year 2023, and that too a mini-series! The CHEMISTRY Oh my gaad! The small elements, the hugs, the want of being with someone, the fear of losing them; so beautifully portrayed in just 10-15 mins long episodes. I am literally screaming!! How, just how did they do it?! My respect and love to the whole cast and specially to 2 of the sweetest actors. Hope to see them together again in some other series.
This series is literally taking me on a roller coaster of emotions! I'm going crazy with these two! The chemistry is AMAZING and I didn't feel even a little cring for any scene even though some dialogues were of typical romantic scenes, that is some kind of direction and acting I am looking for. Don't know how they are able to do this with just 15 min long episodes. I normally rate a mini series like 7 or 7.5 or drop it mid way but looking at it, I might give this series a 10 if they don't mess up in further episodes.
Are we seriously not getting at least an 8.0 rating on this one? This series is better than most BLs released…
Couldn't agree more! The acting and expressions in most of the japenese BLs are so on the point. Even then most of them are so underrated, whereas many Thai BLs are so amateur and with so many cringe scenes, cringe dialogues (the acting just does't feel natural) and yet they are so overrated. I'm not saying there are no good Thai BLs. I myself am a huge fan of some of them. You can check that from my watchlist. But many of them are very overly rated, at least for me.
I must say, Fourth's expressions are just phenomenal. It's like if he cries, I feel like crying and when he smiles, I feel so happy. It's not like I have a crush on him, it's just that a good actor can make you feel in whichever way they want. It's an honest reaction from me as an audience.
A lot of comments here criticising Eiw for being a "weak cry baby uke", and wanting stronger more masculine leads…
Exactly! It has been months since I watched the series and I commented exactly about the same matter then. This series is one of the most beautiful series I will ever watch. Of course it has some flaws, I ain't saying it doesn't but that flaw has nothing to do with Eiw's crying scenes whatsoever. Just because someone cries doesn't mean they are weak! Just because a man is effeminate doesn't mean he is weak! People need to understand this. And I even read comments complaining about his crying when Eiw's mother died. I mean seriously?! His MOTHER DIED. What do you expect of him?!
ok but I can't watch Sora right now, I'm still in the mourning phase for Eternal Yesterday ending
OMG! Right. I completed it like 2 hours ago and I still feel the pain. It is a wonderful series though. The ending, even though it's sad is one of the best endings I've ever seen.
This series was a 9 or 9.5 for me till ep 7 but the last ep just made me give it a 10. Even though I HATE sad endings, the story concluded sooo beautifully, I couldn't stop myself!! I couldn't stop crying and even then I gave it a 10, it was a bit shocking for me. The narrations that took place in the background of the scenes, that were already shown before, added so much more life to them.
It is a beautiful series! I truly recommend it! The OST is beautiful too. I already have them in my playlist.
Ever since I became a bl fan, I've noticed my playlist being filled with japanese, thai, korean and mandarin (from Taiwan) songs, even though I do not understand any of them XD
It’s doing great in Thailand! Audience around 2.0 (just for the record, Miracle of Teddy Bear hardly hit 1.0,…
Well I am also an international fan and it already has me in its grasp XD. I ain't leaving it until I complete it. By the way what is the difference between lakorn and a series?
Ok I just wonder, how is this series not popular? I've watched 5 ep till now and I can say the plot, the set up and the acting all of them are amazing and so interesting. ALso, it is a BL. For me that is the a very important factor. Where are all the bl fans? Why aren't they watching it?
And smoking whether active or passive only increases the "probability" of having a cancer by manyfold but still does not mandate it to happen. Which person will get caught within that probability can hardly be predicted by anyone. Seeiw's father might not be "healthy" so as to say. It's just that he didn't develop cancer. Of course his lungs won't be as healthy as his lungs if he wouldn't have been a smoker. The death of Seeiw's mom left a much greater impact on the audience because she had more screen time and she did nothing wrong. It shows that how smoking can even impact persons who have not smoken once in their life, but just live in the vicinity of a smoker. And living with a smoker is not even a choice if she/he/they is/are a family member.
