Agree but not this this couple though. Should have a different couple since they want this show not to be related to TMOBP , all the cast and set should be changed as when we see this drama , it's like flashbacks to TMOPB. A fresh start would have being better in my opinion.

I have to agree Yang Zi acting is not great but neither is it bad. Her acting is very monotonous not much variety. She is very popular though probably because of her looks. Hope Chinese drama fans won't head in direction of K-pop where fans just support their idol regardless of their performance (how are they going to improve if you don't give honest feedbacks).

After watching a few episodes, I'm quite disappointed with this drama, there is no pulling power to made you want to continue watching. Prephaps TMOPB was that good , which this drama fails to match both in story and acting. I would give it an above average drama the very most. Probably will just skim through the series or maybe just drop it altogether.

Same here, will probably just watch Yang Mi cameo, as I don't really like what I have seen so far. The acting of some young actors is bad, unlike TMOPB where all the cast acting was superb. Another thing is the storyline has no pull factor to keep me wanting to watch. Theme is song is ok, where as TMOPB has 3 very infectious songs

After watching 2 episodes, I feel this drama is passable, definitely not in the same league as 10 miles peach blossoms which simply outstanding. Again some of the young actors simply not good enough.

I really like Li Yitong acting, I feel she is as good as any of the top China actress, hopefully she can achieve the popularity status as Yang Mi and Zhao Liying both are my favorite actress.

Never did like this story, plus the actors and actress just too young for their roles which makes it weird. They probably be better off acting in modern drama. Will drop this drama.

I think is up to individual interpretation (open ended). As for me, I go with 'Butterfly Lovers' genre type of ending ( Happy Ending in a certain sense or bitter sweet ending)

The problem with many Chinese dramas is that there are many silly or stupid act cute scenes that turns me off , just too childish for serious drama. You can act cute in mature way but not those childish behavior. I guess these handsome and pretty actors fans will support them no matter how bad their acting is.

Watch the first episode, but gave up after 30 mins, just couldn't stand the silly act cute behavior of female lead.

Thanks everyone for the clarification, otherwise I will keep scratching my head with no end in sight, though I would wanted the show to end on a happy note. I think actor and actress did a fine job (although Li Yitong is not very popular which I don't know why)

After giving much thought, I realized that the removal of goddess of Mercy picture is actually a hint that cp is dead, she must be praying hard for cp to returned back but must have received news of his demised that why she have stopped praying. What do you think of this version.

I saw the extra few minutes , with the scene showing like a tombstone with the inscription 太子, does it mean the crown Prince is dead ?

I think you are probably right and that's a good ending. Those of us don't understand or know a bit of mandarin can arrived at all sort of conclusion on the segment of the show ?

Thanks for the feedback, so what does the end of the show trying to tell us, especially the last verse when the voice of cp says to wait for him when both of them are already at the pavilion and what about the burning of incense .

I guess the producer don't want to offend the writer or disappoint the viewers, so the ending is up to ones imagination ( could be good or bad ending depending how you interpret). But from the ending scene , I interpret it as the cp is dead and female follow soon after giving birth and prephaps they meet again after life.
