I think Kinn's father is comparing his bodyguard(Porsche) to a tool. If a tool(knife/bodyguard) is used for something other than what is needed(cutting an apple/relationship), it becomes useless(rusty/unable to do the job). He needs Kinn to focus on being the head of the group, not a relationship.

My heart aches so much! I was like, "They can't end the episode there!" I'm so looking forward to the rest of this story.

For some reason, I couldn't see Fah's feelings for Thorn after episode 7. I know Thorn was acting out right before the ending but when Fah said "I don't know how I feel about him anymore" I lost my faith in him and their relationship. I wish them the best and I'm happy Thorn got what he wanted.
