Tbh it seems these days they like to make sequels or multiple seasons for popular shows so maybe you will get…
Nah i dont want it, they already played out all the main intregue of the story and a sequel will not be as fun as it would had been seeing them develop as a new team.
Does anyone else feel like this should've been like a 24ep series, where most of the eps would have been episodic with them solving cases? They could had focus more on character development and their interactions together. There could had also been a sprinkling of hints of the backstory plus a few things on the bad guys. I just see so much more potential they could had done with the characters and feel kinda cheated out of not getting it.
Caught up with ep14. In regards to the possoble romance between Jegal and Ga Eul, I dont see it going anywhere anymore. The possibility of it happening did flair up over the last couple weeks, but these last two episodes has de-esculated the love line. Ga Eul is just too much kept out of Jegal's life and what he is up too. He is not trusting her with any of it, he only protects her from it all without explination. Also in ep14 Ga Eul seems to accept that Jegal does not see her as a woman and that is a lot more clearer to me now too (if you've seen my previous post then i had found that point a little foggy). Unless they do something to rekindle the spark in the last two eps, which is extreemly unlikely and quite frankly, forced, they will just become friends. Actually I saw more development between Jegal and Dr Park in these last two eps. Their love line has also always been a possibility and I begrudgingly acknowledge the continual possibility of it happening. Yuck.
"Jegal does show he cares for Ga Eul more on a deeper level then what he nomally should and has a highten inclination…
How Jegal treated Ga Eul in of itself is not an indication that her was falling in love with her. And it still isnt as we have yet to know the end result of this relationship. However, it was merely one flag among many that we the audience could pick up on and interprete, based on our knowledge of how romance usually happens in media, to anticipate the possibility of Jegal falling in love with Ga Eul. Again this does not mean the feelings they share for one another is the let's-get-married-and-live-happily-ever-after kind of feelings. It could end up being more like feelings they need to carry themselves through their problems and live a better life. And in which case they will continue to support one another, but won't end in romance. Although the way they are portraying Ga Eul's argument for her love for Jegal strikes me kinda legit. Oh well we'll see how it turns out, but I'm supportive either way (depending how the story plays out)
It seems many are finding the possibilty of Jegal having feelings for Ga Eul has come totally out of nowhere. That is actually not so, there has been some foreshadowings of the building of Jegal's feeling sinse the first episode. First when the brother asked Jegal to meet Ga Eul, Jegal first impression of her was a possible romantic setup. Yes, he dismissed the setup due to her youthfulness, but he stilled first saw her as an attractive pretty girl and was mildly interested enough to ask for her age (which counters Jegal's claim to Ga Eul in ep11(or 12?) that he never saw her as a woman). Jegal's romantic background has been discussed and has been said to be absent of romance. This is a common trope used when an older man is paired with a younger woman. This makes the man more on the same level of romantic experience with the younger woman. Ga Eul has not always acted like how Jegal expecter her too and has many time exceeded his expectations. So there is parts to her that he admires. Jegal does show he cares for Ga Eul more on a deeper level then what he nomally should and has a highten inclination to take care of her. He pats her on the head/shoulder, feeds her, wipes off her mouth from eating, takes her to see his father, takes her to his personal spaces, hugs her, offers his coat to keep warm, defends her from harm and very often aggressively (actually he is more prone to be extra crazy when she is in danger). I had caught many flags that he may have romantic feelings towards Ga Eul. So for me, the romance is not unexpected. Actually I was anticipating it. Now, this is not to say i think they will or should get together in the end. There are still many questionable problems with that as many of you here know. Personally, I could go with them ending up together, but only if the writer can properly convince me they are not just having transferense issues. They could just be two people who find relief with their problems when they are together. There are a ton of romance stories out there about broken people falling in love and everybody roots for those couples. So, given things are handles properly here, why can't it be possible to root for this couple? Four (WOW really?!) more episodes left. A lot can happen during that time. So we'll see how things play out.
I'm not against if they do the have ML and FL get together. I, for one, am fine with age gap relationships (with some restrictions). However, I'm not yet convinced the FL actually "loves" Jegal for the correct reasons. It's understandable why she would develope feelings for him considering all he's done for her. He was the first man who ever properly protected her from her abusers (unlike her brother) and he went out of his way to help her. However, what has she done for him? He may be good for her, but will she be good for him? She has always been on the recieving end of their relationship, maybe she has helped Jegal recognize a few things about himself, but she has never been there for him to help him overcome his problems. She dosen't even know he has problems. She just sees the outside and nothing of the inside. And this is where i hesitate to ship their relationship. Unless i see her getting to know him more and being someone who can help him overcome his own problems, I cannot ship them.
But I want Jegal to end up with someone in the end πππ And the only other option is the other counselor women, who I don't like π€ (Granted that No-Medal gymnastic girl seems to like him, but that's a total deadend.) There are still 6 more episodes left for me to watch. I hope one of the two woman candidates can step up and be worthy of Jegal in that time!
It doesn't really matter. Who cares as long as they're both good people and happy? I hope they have a great day,…
As I said, it's a Catholic thing for a Catholic reason. I am also happy for her marriage and I care for her continual happiness in this life and the nextπ
More like, there are not many roles for him that would require the build. Plus for some stupid reason, many people *cough*women*cough* dont like that beefy build on guys. Yeah. Dumb. He actually didnt need to put on the muscle mass for The Veil, I'm convinced he only did it for the excuse to build up, which his other roles would never required (or wantedπ).
Saw the trailer. Looks like his character is going to be a combination of Hot Stove League and Chief Kim. However he does play the part, I'm on board with it βΊοΈ
"I believe God loves me so he won't send me to hell." This is the saddest line of the whole letter. The sad belief that God comforms to what we want Him to be. God told us to follow Him, not that He will follow us. I pray that she was given the clarity of her error right before death took her π Grant her eternal rest oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Jegal is said to be almost 40 (so between 37 and 39)
I don't know who Lee Moo Tae is. Lee Moo Gyeol? The swimmer maybe? He is 28.

Sinse GHJ is Catholic, I hope they were married in a Catholic church. (It's a Catholic thing for a Catholic reason).
