I feel like fans are a little biased here. 10/10 (according to some comments)? I don’t think so. Surely there are other better dramas that deserve that rating. I find Yang Mi’s acting ok and the ML restrained.

Guys!!! I'm so sad that we have to wait 4 days!!! Omg after watching episodes 21 and 22, I would recommend that anyone who just wants the story to move along, wait until Wednesday and don't watch 21 and 22 so that you can see all episodes together. The cliffhanger on episode 22 is too much to bear! Does anyone know where I can read the English or Simplified Chinese version of the novel so that I can find a release from that cliffhanger? haha

Review A Camellia Romance
What???? This is one of the best and sweetest periodic/historical Chinese dramas!!! The script was very well written and well-acted. Please watch it for yourselves. Why do we always get the emperor involved? The emperor wasn't even involved until the last few episodes. And ML wasn't forced to marry the girl. Obviously, this review author didn't even watch this drama - Spoiler Alert - ML's mom wanted ML to marry FL but gave them a chance to get to know each other. The ML's mom is one of the sweetest ML mothers in any Chinese drama I've ever seen. Anyway, just watch the drama. This drama is not like other C-Dramas. - This review comes from someone who is not Chinese but majored in Chinese, studied in China, and has watched all kinds of Asian dramas since 2008.
