Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
1. "Geum Ho said Eun Ho had been crying to her for 10 years." True or false? If false, then many years…
1. "Geum Ho said Eun Ho had been crying to her for 10 years."
1. The statement is false. Eun Ho spent 8 years at the River of Three Crossings. On the 9th year, Eun Ho was back...whereby she spent that year crying to Guem Ho...and on the 10th year is where she met up with SY.

2. The statement is true. In episode 10, the deity said that both SY and WS were living the fates that they were born with, and Eun Ho...by granting WS's wish....was the one who switched their fates. The accident never played a part in SY and WS having their fates switched....which was confirmed by the reset when Eun Ho died. As for Eun Ho's first version...it was blurry...so it could have been either WS's or SY's fate she saw...but we found out later, from the deity, that the blurry vision was actually SY's fate all along.

3. Your answer is correct. It's the fear and pain of losing SY all over again that she distanced herself away from SY...not because she didn't love him.

Again, I thank you for replying to my post.

My original intent for asking for those 3 questions was more to see if anyone would answer them...which you did, and I thank you...than finding the answers to the questions. As I predicted...the post was buried under the drama reviews and about discussion about KHY. Anyways, my response to your answers are in the spoiler...

To those that have watched all episodes of the drama, I have 3 questions...posted in the spoiler.
1. "Geum Ho said Eun Ho had been crying to her for 10 years." True or false? If false, then many years was it?

2. SY's and WS's original fates were switched when Eun Ho granted WS his wish and not because of the accident. True or false? And reasoning?

3. Why did Eun Ho did not make herself known to SY after she had returned?

She was sent back one year ago by the deity...as for the second question...she explained it clearly in episode…
To make it clear...EunHo was not crying over SY for 10 years...the deity sent her back on the 9th year...so it was only one year that GeumHo was referring to.

With my assumption that you had watched the episode, I thought it was just a matter of refreshing your memory by scrolling to the scene where she saved him at the rooftop to find your answer. The whole scene was explanatory to the question why. And I'll make it easier for you by giving you the time... 36:38 of the episode 12 ...in which to start watching it.

First of all, your question is a spoiler for the series for people who have not seen the drama nor the episode...so, by default, any answers given will be considered a spoiler.

Pa Gun Seong Jun changed his fate with hers and went to die in her place.
Well, you have to understand, EunHo has never loved anyone before...romantically that is...so it's all new to her. The emotions she had to go through...that when she finally accepted and gave love, she barely got use to those emotions before she got blindsided by overwhelming feelings of anguish and despair from losing SY. Think of her as a child...and being scared of going through that a second time. It takes time and life experiences to accept death as a fact of life...so for her...it will too.

I'm not sure why you doubt her love for him...is it because she doesn't want to become human? Or is it something else that makes you feel that way?

Pa Gun Seong Jun changed his fate with hers and went to die in her place.
In the past, she did loved him...she showed it in many ways, but the most glaringly ones were...making sure that the 8-tailed fox was there to save SY from his fated death, and, before dying, even though she knew it would give him more pain, she wanted him to know that she did indeed loved him in return...that it was not one-sided.

During those 9 years she sat in the "hut" at the River of Three Crossings...the stormy weather not only stopped her from crossing, but it also reflected her refusal to move onto the afterlife and forgetting SY...until the deity took pity on her and let her return back to him.

Now, in present day...she still loves him...protected him during the year after she returned, but yet still didn't erase his memory of her as she promised before she died. Why? Because she didn't want him to forget her. Instead she spent that time crying and lamenting to poor GeumHo about missing him. But it all turned out great...they are now together and on their way to create a lifetime of wonderful memories, and for her to keep them when he's gone...like he promised her.

You were right. The deity sent Eun Ho back...the waters then calmed down. The boat man commented, "To take on her burden and defy the Heaven's will is to invite a far greater burden upon yourself." I think what the boat man is saying...by sending her back...knowing what could happen given her nature...the deity will not only bear the burden of sending her back, but, also, if anything goes wrong this second time around.

There was nothing implied that the "burden" is for the deity to give up his immortality.

The original fate belonged to his friend. Everything else that happened after seemed unfair to him.
The deity explained it all in episode 10.

I am confused...what do you mean by "she changed their fates with the accident"? Fffwd it? I agree...and my statement..." Because the accident had set in motion the fruition of SY's destiny that he was born with"... is exactly what I meant...that SY's fate came in to play sooner rather than later with the accident.

What Lomon said about the drama is exactly one of the reasons why I loved it! He did a wonderful job in portraying his character SY and I thank him for it! I was glad that he and KHY did not outshone each other...that they were evenly matched in their visuals, their ability to emote their character's emotions clearly, their comedic timing, and to present an on-screen chemistry that was charming, warm, adorable, and not forced. Wish him well on his next projects.

Okay...so we agreed that Eun Ho's vision was blurry? Then why was it blurry? Because it was not yet set in motion. Accident happened...WS in hospital and Eun Ho got a clear vision of what she saw in the mall...SY's rise to fame.
Why was it clear now? Because the accident had set in motion the fruition of SY's destiny that he was born with...according to the deity..."to rise high and burn out quickly". The accident did not switch WS's and SY's fates...they both had continued to lived the lives that they were born to have...until Eun Ho granted WS's wish. And this is why deity's reveal in episode 10 was important...it was to clear up the ambiguity of Eun Ho's initial blurry vision and whose fate she thought she saw.
Yes, the deity did point out the consequence of that accident...the driver died before his time...which in turn affected his family...which Eun Ho found out in episode 10...whereby she tried to make amends by financially assisting both his wife and daughter.

By "he" are you referring to the deity? Are you saying he got it wrong? I guess he could be lying to Eun Ho in episode 10, but why would he? What would he gain?
WS's fate to be famous and play for Korea was based on what? Eun Ho's vision at the mall? The blurry one where we couldn't even tell whose face it is? I think Eun Ho assumed it was WS's...unless she actually had a clear vision of him whereby, we, the viewers, were not privy to.

No probs. I don't think they could have given you the deity's reveal until WS found out he was going to die...which is what happened in episode 10.

If the deity is to be believed, he said that WS was born to live a long but difficult life and SY was born "to rise high, but burn out quickly"...and this is exactly how they both were living their lives before Eun Ho granted WS's wish. WS getting hit by Lee Yoon's car did not change his original fate, but with Eun Ho's meddling, it did...he's now living SY's life..."to rise high, but burn out quickly". However, the accident did changed someone else's fate...the driver's...he died before his time.

Actually Eun Ho's first vision, in the mall, was blurry...unless it was meant to be blurry to keep us in the dark about what she actually saw. Her second vision, in the hospital, definitely showed SY as the one who will become famous. As to why did she thought, from her first vision, that it was WS's? It was based on two things...she presumed SY was bookish and not an athlete by the ease that she bounced him off her, and the vision came to her after she locked eyes with WS.
Why was WS sought after and not SY?
Not because WS was more talented, but most likely because his Dad greased the palms to make it happen. For example, SY was not allowed to play to his full form, instead, he was punished for not letting WS shine in front of the National Team coach. Preferential treatment not talent.
Did the accident changed anything?
No, but that accident probably simply pushed SY's fate to happening sooner than later. Plus it propelled Eun Ho's fate to becoming a human.
