I guess I was hoping for a different portrayal of the FL, someone who'd challenge the script and try to redeem her ill-fated story. A stronger, more proactive lead. But I guess I'm okay with her, just didn't match what I expected...

I genuinely thought the FL would be the one to gradually uncover the truth, but she’s far too caught up in the so-called “script” and her own prejudice against Nan Heng. It’s disappointing to see her make assumptions instead of trying to understand him for who he really is.

I know, the story insists he’ll hurt her, but she could choose to reframe the story by accepting his love and giving him a chance. At this point, it’s not just self-protection—it’s unfair. Nan Heng has done more than enough to prove himself, but she refuses to see beyond her preconceptions. I hope the writing allows her to grow out of this one-dimensional response soon, because right now, it’s doing a disservice to both her character and the relationship dynamic.

Edit: I'm not taking the ML's side, they both had ill intentions towards each other, but we're at ep 24! I just wish she'll accept her feelings towards the ML. I'm missing the fun we had from the very beginning of this drama..

I truly want to know who these people are rating the unaired episodes. You've got a twisted nerve, I get it, but at least wait until the episode is aired, or you are also into the script, so you know the future? XD😂😂😂

If it's a character play, then the actress is doing a great job because I can truly feel the awkwardness..

Just my opinion..... The FL acts in a way that seems unnecessarily cringeworthy... the way she talks seems too fake... the two boys are giving natural expressions, but I somehow find her awkward.

They need to clear out the misunderstanding between Nan Heng and Yi Meng.. There was a hint on episode 12, but they need to pick up the pace again.. dragging too much..

He was too anxious trying to pull off a plan that had failure written all over it 😂

Is it only me, or the plot is getting too obvious... ML is from noble birth but forced to conceal his identity for revenge. Sly crown prince with corruption.. FL with a similar past forced to marry and be an agent... Classic c-drama plot! Needed something new here... ep 9-10 disappointed me.. but waiting for them to turn the tables..

In this drama, the side characters are equally funny... 🤣🤣🤣. The granny also mocked Liu YuNing for his small eyes, which remind me of Manman. 😬😂😂😂 and the guards are also really funny, not to mention the other two from Water Crescent. I'm loving this refreshing vibe of this drama.. ML is trying to assist the FL to kill himself with such clumsy mates.. trying his best to execute their obvious assassination🤣🤣🤣🤣 This plot with twists is so funny

Aahhhh what a start! While watching the trailer, I never thought this drama would be so funny and different.. The 1st episode was an epic one. You'll get déjà vu 🤣🤣, with so many top drama scenes in just a few minutes. The background music was a showstopper, and I've never seen such funny lyrics dedicated to each of the scenes... Expectations are getting higher; I hope they won't let me down...

I also felt the same.. I thought I was overanalyzing things, but the FL's acting seemed a bit too much at some points... Hope the future eps will prove me wrong.

The immortal man was suspicious, there's no doubt, and that man among the mortals seemed fishy too.. You see, he tried to attack Shi'an for no reason when they were there to loot, forcing HRY to use her power. He had an evil smirk when she revealed her power in front of everyone. Then he instigated everyone over and over to kill her. It seems like someone ordered him.

yea... After all its a drama so there's no way they gonna solve any misunderstandings that easily...

We’re all out here breaking down a couple’s relationship drama like it’s a crime thriller, how wild is that? 😆 Imagine if HRY had just vented her complaints like any regular wife, and BJS actually sat down and explained why he sealed her powers… Boom! No feud, no mess, and no reason for us to turn into part-time detectives after every episode. 🔍

And HRY… my girl, you waited 300 years, built a whole sect, plotted your big revenge arc, but never once showed up to confront BJS in person? Be serious.

Now BJS… what exactly were you doing during those 10 years? You left your wife powerless in the dangerous mortal world and just... vanished? Never thought of stopping by? Saying hi? Maybe helping out a little? I get that 10 years in heaven might feel like 10 days, but come on, what were you actually doing up there in the heaven??

After episode 24, I too doubt her master. She and the lady BJS gave wine to seem too identical...

After seeing the previews of ep 23 & 24 I was too upset.. Then I reminded myself, It's just a couple fight that involves immortals and mortals and all the existing beings 😅😅

I too agree with you.. I also noticed the white snake thing.. Remember BJS was hurt too badly, he gave a list of ingredients that included the scale of a flying snake, and Cang Tu asked him why he didn't mention it before. His reaction was suspicious.. seems like he was protecting the snake..

IKR! She was putting on this act too well. But BJS knew it was Hua from the beginning.. Actually, there were several hints, such as when she saw the white snake, her gaze was soft, and when she repeated her parents' name again and again, I found that odd. Otherwise, I too thought she was LQY, not HRY.
