Not exactly connected but Damn! Hye Yoon is so damn versatile πππ
Speaking of Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde, Taesung should have met Sol's third personality - Gye Bun Ok (from Snowdrop)πππ Would he have fallen for her too?π€
I really enjoyed this one! The cast was amazing and the vibe was cute and funny. I super loved Woo-Seok and Hye-Yoon's…
Tell me about it- Mondays are so blue without LR againπππ
About the driver- The actor who portrayed the taxi driver explained that he's just a psycho and Sol just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's why the driver doesn't know Sol in the final timeslip/ only notices SJ as a celebrity. [KTS's dad echos this sentiment in ep 16 when he comforts KTS after the accident]
SJ is more connected to the taxi driver by fate since he always acts as an obstacle even if it's by accident.
My best guess is that the watch activates after Sanjae dies. The 3 chances - you can time travel at any day once…
Ah you mean coming back to the present? This has no connection to Sanjae's time of death as far as i can tell.
Each chance has a limited time you can stay in the past. It's not very clear what triggers the watch to take her back to the present but it seems like once Sol achieves a goal/ changes the outcome in a positive way, she gets sent back to 2023. At least this was the case in the first 2 timeslips in 2008.
Timeslip 1 - Change KTS's fate so that he becomes their final saviour in 2023 (his confession to Sol means that his life will probably become better)
Timeslip 2 - save herself from getting kidnapped
2009 timeline- i guess the watch didn't send her back immediately after the cliff incident because her mission was a failure/ incomplete till she saves SJ with the new watch (she also anyway had a few more days estimated left) π
i think we all agree that LR has some issues, esp related to TIME TRAVEL.like what instigates it, it cannot be…

π€£π€£π€£ this reminds me of ep 16:
SJ's manager to drunk SJ : "Why are you sooo tall?" (While fighting for dear life to stop Sanjae from tripping over himself/ crushing the manager in their final drunk scene)
I guess I am super late in getting on to the lovely runner train , I missed the weekly discussion here after every…
In the original timeline, it's likely Sol's friend didn't really spend much time alone with her brother but after Sol travelled back in time, Sol barely spent time with Hyunjoo outside the academy. In fact most of the interactions the bff had with the brother was because Sol was MIA. So this in turn opened up new possibilities to their dynamic.
It's essentially a domino reaction/ butterfly effect from messing with the timeline.
TMAI! I also really don't understand why if you don't like the genre in general, why would somebody go out of…
That's so true! The hate is hilarious at this point π€£ I understand why "rabid fans" still hangout here, but seeing the haters still lurking around here is just π€£
I also really don't understand why if you don't like the genre in general, why would somebody go out of their way to write essays worth of reviews? You already know that it's not going to meet your tastes and TVN/ the Hype never claimed that Lovely Runner is the hottest show in the world- it's hot for it's genre π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
Are there any time travellers or those associated with timetravel from 31.10.1993 and beyond?
I heard that the kissing scenes were inspired from "I want a Kiss"!
(it's a masterpiece from 2023 by Bon Cinema)
