This kind of ties with why Sanjae was so calm in the 3rd 2023 timeline. In that version he didn't know about timetravel but he kept on hoping that he will get to meet HIS version of Sol again

So this time he may have to wait again, only this time, he knows for sure when he can meet her. There's no confusion. Just anticipation

But it was San Jae's song that was used to get through the audition in the new timeline. And since SJ and In Hyuk are so close, SJ will probably let him use the song for their debut album. So regardless if SJ joins Eclipse or not, the song will be out in the world.

In ep 1, Sol was surprised because the song wasn't supposed to be on the concert's playlist set but she already knew about the song (flashback to 2012 during SJ's interview about his first love)🙊

Her only focus is saving SJ so she doesn't see the big picture.

Also to be fair, honestly until KTS and SJ figured things out, nobody truly believed anything she tried to say because of the censoring. 😅

I get what you mean. But they do show just how multifaceted Sol's personality is throughout the series.


We first see Sol's personalitybefore she experienced all that pain in the original timeline through SJ's first impression of her - a kind hearted bubbly girl who is a abit naive but means well. This is still true to a certain extent at least in 2023 as well except that she is no longer naive.

Through 2008 Tae Sung, we got to see Sol's loyalty and naivety again for the ones she loves. While her messages to him were so cringe, for her age it was quite sweet of her. This again is still true in 2023 with her interactions with SJ as an idol, friend, and boyfriend.

The gradual change of 2023 Sol's personality also is shown rather subtly throughout the episodes:

-Between Ep 1 -3/4 we see a hopeful and bubbly Sol who just lost her idol but got a chance to save him. She does cry even in these episodes, but in her mind the situation doesn't really hit her yet since she believes it's suicide due to his unhealthy lifestyle as a celebrity.

Ep 4 onwards once she realizes who he really is to her (i.e. not just an idol but somebody she was supposed to know but forgot/ somebody she was mean to), her personality slowly started to shift to a more dark place gradually .....by the time she figured out why SJ kept dying, it was just too much for her. Especially since she loved him so dearly and also is indebted to him. Her personality lost the bubbly shinyness since she was so desperate. 🥲
(At least that's how i see it)

Sounds about right...the only thing is, it will be sad when Sol has to leave 2009 back to her own time since the younger Sol will not co tinue to date SJ, meaning that SJ will probably end up waiting for 14 years again.

Oh thinking out loud now though it does make sense that no matter what happens in 2023, SJ will be famous in 2023 for things to come full circle🙊

In the trailer there's a version of 2023 where Sol is still a fan of San jae and he's in a movie.

So perhaps he ends up becoming an actor? Basically just like BWS who is an actor who just happens to have killer vocals?

I think we might get an extended version of 2023 may be? The new timeline changed significantly based on the latest epilogue but in the trailer there was abit where Sol was still a fan of SJ so does this mean that he only skips idol life but end up being an actor only? 🙊
