Ji Han calls his big brother selfish, when infact heβs the one who is self-centred in this situation π
Tbh i don't think either brother is that selfish/ self centred. It's just that they don't talk.
DH is understandably scared so he keeps JH in the dark. It also seems that DH is anyway a closed person which inturn had a detrimental impact on JH's growing insecurities since he was a kid.
About JH being self centred, it looks like he no longer is obsessed with the company.
In ep 8 he admitted that as much as it hurts him, he understood why DH didn't trust him and he is fine with it. He even was ready to give up his dreams of taking over the company to support his brother. But the one thing he is against is the fact that AJ is being lied to (JH doesn't know that AJ knows that the bro is gay).
Maybe because I love my brother so much that I'm having a hard time seeing JH focus on his love life than actually…
DH knows that JH knows his secret - the hint during the fight scene worked. Now the brothers need to meet halfway and actual have a proper discussion for once
so, the ex-bf knows nothing about the contract right ? he probably told Ji Han that his bro is gay af , pretending…
Adding to losswierllos's comment, Ji Han is probably hurt too that yet again his brother didn't trust him. He was already miffed about the fact that DH wouldn't share his New York address with him so finding out your bro has such a huge secret -specially after knowing Ji Han's years' long plan to marry him off to the CEO lady, it has to sting at least abit.
(I'm not saying that DH should have told his brother the truth - it'sjust a pov)
I just love how subtly the writers acknowledged Jihan's mistake with the reporter when he was a kid by doing the same thing with AJ's nephew in the park.
If the grandfather wasn't there, the nephew would have made the same mistake.
This just goes to show just how unfair Jihan has been treated by his grandfather. Yes, his mother allegedly did die at least indirectly because he spoke to the reporter but this was a mistake any kid would have made.
AJ's dad beautifully handled the reporter while not making the kid feel bad (even later as far as we know)
Unless DH has somebody back in the US waiting for him, there's no hope at this point. His ex just threw a "grenade"…
This would have been a fun twist ngl.
We do know that there are 2 men in DW's life - the ex and the guy in NY (ep 1 in the flashback) so they might still do something low key i guess in ep 12π

His ex just threw a "grenade" and crossed the line (the line iss a dot at this point) so highly unlikely they'd be going for a rekindled bl romance arc either
The distance between SML and FL is too much visible. They donβt look like besties at all. FL and ML look closer
In ep 1 the FL's trust in the SML got kind of shaky once she found out that he's being lying about his family ever since they were kids. They did seem very close in the airport scene in ep1 before the reveal.
The preview????? I'm about to throw hands with Jihan.Like I'm sorry to everyone who is genuinely enjoying the…
It's all about whose POV we are looking at.
JH gave up his feeling for the FL and his years of planning to make his bro CEO so that the grandfather would acknowledge them just because he thought that his brother truly loved and needed AJ.
Finding out your brother is gay in such an abrupt way and that the girl he likes/ forced to let go may have no idea about DH being gay can trigger anybody. It looks like he may have stormed off to meet the FL right after the ex broke the news so JH's reaction kind of makes sense.
Additionally, DH is a huge part of JH's life- he might just be hurt that DH didn't trust him enough
It's unfair to force DH to come out just to please his brother but you can't expect JH to be automatically sweet about it either (and the ex probably wasn't tactful with whatever he said either so it could be quite bad).
There was abit of foreshadowing if you think about it...the whole episode felt awkward with a "something is off" vibe just like how AJ and Ji han's dynamic changed after Ji Han decided to give up. Even the episode protested the ML's decision π
Honestly i really like the second female lead. She was honestly good for the ML.She isn't the normal stereotype…
After ep 7 though, the writers in a way have put her character on a crossroad.
Jihan pretty much raised her expectations to skyscraper levels only to crush them after ep 8's revellations. Will the SFL accept her loss graciously or will she have her own villain arc? (Honestly as much as I don't want it to happen, i wouldn't blame her even if she did)
I think second male lead start fall in love for fl
It may look like the SML is falling for the FL but that's just how much relieved and thankful he feels without his anxiety thanks to AJ - practically floating in the air.
keng? was he dead when he was thrown on top of non? was the photo a fake? that was alluded to when non's parents…
Keng was killed- the only reason Tee's uncle didn't kill Non along with Keng at the same time was because of Tee's begging. So it's likely Keng got harvested.
It's not everyone's cup of tea. Personally i got this family-kid friendly vibe from the first episode. So if you are hoping for anything steamy...the steamiest thing you'll probably get is hot fried chicken π π π
I have a love hate relationship with the "unknown" intro in the OSTπ Hearing "Unknown" at the beginning of each episode sounds like a promise for another good episode. But hearing "unknown" right before they conclude the day's episode almost sounds like a protest from the singer himself because it ended too soon - almost like "oh no oh no oh no"π

(If anything WI kind of rediculed the clichΓ©ness of BP's ML (along with most CEO MLs in general) indirectly in one of the initial episodes)
But the confirmation will probably happen at the end of tonight's episode or ep 09
