Canât you just watch something for fun? This series isnât that serious to begin with. Watch it completely then critique it. This feels more like a rant of opinion rather than a critique. If you just judge every series based on the tropes that you prefer or not prefer, then by that logic you shouldnât be even starting this show because this series is exactly what it said it would be in the trailer.
I'm so confused... Inter-fans are talking about the confirmation of ss2 while Thai fans are saying the opposite.…
Nonkul said him âsee yâall in season 2â and also there is a cliff hanger at the end that shows that Jom has transfered the âcommander Yaiâ era in 1750s
180 degree longitude worked with similar type of age gaps yet it wasnât creepy or felt out of place like this. They needed to establish a connection between older Kiew and Bamee before the show ended so that it didnât feel like older Kiew just showed up one day and started kissing teen Bamee.
You consider homophobia with no back lash as nothing âbad happenedâ???
We gays are st@bbed, bvrned and kÂĄlled to this day in real life. In real life if someone like Rainâs character isnât stopped at early stages, the hatred turns into mocking, mocking turns into bullying, bullying turns into violence, violence turns into homicide. He has no rights to ask if anyone (he doesnât personally know) is gay or not, specifically in a provocative way. If you donât find anything wrong with what rain did then maybe you donât understand what homophobia is.

First of all, that wasnât a backlash. A backlash is when you get harsh consequences for your action but his first left him alone for 10 minutes like âgirl bye see you laterâď¸â. That wasnât a backlash that was basically nothing. And second of all, you said he seem to understand how that wasnât nice. Maybe you should rewatched the scene because as soon as he said that, it he looked at his friends as if he doesnât know why his friends are looking at him like that. The only reason he seem to think regret this situation because the girl left him after that comment, he was mad at himself because the girl left for the things he said, not because he thought he was homophobic⌠and he basically has no remorse for his action⌠so no Iâm not buying into that scene at all.
Huh?? You just said that itâs homophobic and then went â¨this is very impressiveâ¨I- have no words to say⌅
First of all getting harsh consequences doesnât equal to being âpunishedâ. Yes I canât change everyone because the reality is that not everyone can accept this. But that does mean they should show it in a series which is supposed to give us entertainment. And yeah I live in a homophobic country too where I canât call them out because Iâll will be deemed as gay too, which is true because thatâs what I am. But this series is made in Thailand which better place than my country and people are more open minded so you can properly call them out and not put up with there shit. And I have seen people in Thailand call out celebrities or any people who expresses homophobia publicly. Thailand has homophobia thatâs a fact, but it still isnât as bad as other Asian countries so that why series like these doesnât have that sort of homophobia. Mame only added homophobia as an element of angst, not as a something people can learn from or improve them selves.
P.s. if you want to be with homophobic friends and be okay with it then thatâs on you. But as a gay man, I would rather be alone for the rest of my life than be friends which that hates the idea of me being gay.

Thatâs wasnât addressing it, that was just covering up a situation. First of all she literally called him out for homophobia and then was chummy the next minute. Imagine an actual homophobic person saying this and people brushed it off and they just got a slap on the wrist and called it a day⌠that homophobic person who get even more homophobic in the future because he didnât get any harsh consequences or learned from his mistake. So no this isnât correcting him. He basically has no remorse for his actions and he only thought he was guilty because the girl was disappointed at him, and that is even worst⌠after he said those he looked at the two of them as if he was wondering why they are looking at him like that⌠Iâm sorry but you if think the situation was dealt very well then you have no idea what homophobia is.
You forgot add rain being homophobic and he basically not getting any consequences because of it. And how homophobia was basically covered up and wasnât addressed properly.
As uncomfortable as it is to witness things like SA, homophobia, bigotry, colorism, bullying, discrimination etc.…
Couldnât have said it better!!! Homophobia exists and it should be shown but usually homophobia has consequences or people learn from it to make themselves a better person. The said character displayed homophobia and he didnât get any consequences or learned from his mistake. Basically it was covered as if itâs not a big issues. And it wasnât even a plot device or character development. It shown as a minor issue as it was used to make the girl angry and disappointed at him. I feel like any other topic could have been used instead of this and it would have been the same effect but Mame choose homophobia and didnât even address it properly. It was just covered up
