This drama really fell flat on its face. No character development coupled with bad writing, plot holes and sappy cliches. and oh LMH's acting was ughh. I honestly think he did a better job in The Heirs. I guess SBS had a lot of extra money and wanted some of it to go to waste.
I could not agree more. The entire series was such a disappointment despite having a good cast (minus lee min ho). a huge negative for me was the lack of character development. I mean seriously take that white horse and fancy clothes from LG. what remains of him then? and the same goes for all the other characters.. except kang shin jae a bit.. and yeah the ending made the entire series fall flat on its face
Tragedy tag isn't the scary part. The overall feeling of helplessness throughout the drama is.
I agree. Despite the tragic ending this drama is everything it should be. the ending too is justified. My only complain is that the main couple didn't get to share many happy memories together. They are fighting almost in the entire series. It's sad and at times tiring too.
I started this drama last year but put it on hold because I knew it will be a sad ending. I picked it up again a couple of days back despite knowing how its gonna end. Just finished it. So heart wrenching! knowing the ending beforehand still didn't prepare me for the onslaught of immense sadness. I'm going to go into major drama slump after this. I don't know how to move on. Could anyone please recommend me a good rebound?
Hands down the best chinese drama I've ever seen. I've never gotten through 63 episodes so easily in my life.…
Exactly! just finished it a couple of days ago. Initially I was a little skeptical about the number of episodes. but once I started they just went on like a breeze and now i want more.
