XD the husband comment for Bride if the century remake ! Didn't know Turkishes have made a lot of adaptations... Impressed but the actors look a bit old for some school concepts...
finally someone has noticed that! I was kinda disappointed to be honest
I hope the end will be less frustrating than Married as a Job. Seems the male lead here is not so shy. And I'm scared Jiho's best friend from Seoul Nationzl University is a character similar to the aunt in Married as a job.
I have just finished watching the 2 fisrt episodes and it's great. The initial plot is very similar to "Married as a job" (J-drama) that I really love (A man and a woman live together for financial reasons. He's working with computer and she lives in the same appartement but need to do housechores. They happened to marry to explain to their family why they live together). I hope the development won't be too similar.
I love the mountain valley landscape in Korea. When I see variety shows in summer, when the cast goes to valley, playing in the stream and eating watermelons, I wish I can join them after hiking. And of course, I love k-dramas, K-indie music, korean BBQ !
Thank you for your work!I´m really happy to use now MDL on mobile devices! I am glad you add variety shows (but I feel my Currently Watching list will grow big)... I have not check yet all new features but it looks promising ^^ And I am also glad we can use the research bar for any categories. Before, we needed to select actors, title... And I forgot each time to choose the category so the research could not be done.
I really love Sungjae as an actor. I was also surprised for Sejeong since it's her first drama and she is doing well. I will also add to the list 2PM's Junho who really left a very good impression in Chief Kim.
I don't know if we can really compare the two versions of Something About 1%. The rating may be higher for the remake because it's more recent and more international people can watch it whereas the original version is quite old and people who are not used to watch old dramas find it boring as the level is not the same as today (almost 15 years apart from the original and the remake).
Actually if you sum up, a one hour-16 episodes drama is equivalent to a 30 minutes-32 episodes. The total of lenght is similar. However, it's easier to finish and follow a 30 minutes drama since the cut is cleaner than when we are pausing in the middle of a one hour drama. I can actually watch one 30 minutes episode before going to work. But that's true the number of episodes (more than 30 episodes) seems scaring. That is because we are too used to the 16 episodes format.
I don't think there is too much details :) It's interesting. I knew it was inspired by real cases and I was curious about them when I watched Signal. Thanks for the article.
