I hope she improves her acting. she's destroying a good drama with her monotone acting.
Yeah, there is a big gap between the drama and her acting. She has no expression except always smiling. Her face is so anoying. Looks like she never blinks when she talks.
I only know three of the OST songs of the list and it is in my ipod ^^. Funny fact, one for each country:
Japan -> Prisoner of love
Korea -> You're beautiful (Lee Hongki <3)
Taiwan -> Absolute boyfriend (Jiro Wang <3)
I have a question to ask... Why is Se Gi only one who has that kind of red tattoo on his back but other personas…
I think your explanation makes sense. I will add that I think the Chairman loved too much her daughter-in-law (Min Seo Yeon) so he agreed to register her daughter (oh ri jin) in the Cha's family as the daughter of Cha Joon pyo and Min Seo Yeon. But after the car's accident, they take the opportunity to hide the little girl. And the Cha Joon pyo'son take the name of Cha do Hyun, and maybe that's why the grandmother doesn't like her grandson, because his name reminds her the real ChaDohyun and the whole story.
I think many of these points could be said for non-drama watchers as well. When I tell people I watch jdrama/kdrama/twdrama,…
Ah ah! Even I, I am asian origine and at first I can't recognize who is who because they all look alike because I was used to grow up in an occidental country and so watching/looking occidental faces. So I can understand these points of view for non-drama watchers...
My opinion about these comments (with a lot mistakes... sorry, too hard to explain my opinion in english *look for specific word* --')
1. In my opinion, I think Thai actors are also handsome but I must admit that my first impression about Taiwanese and Japanese actors were not so handsome. At first, I preferred "manly-look" actors so Korean and Thai actors are okay. For Taiwanese actors, I hated their hair but it was in 2000's so now, it's a lot better!! And for Japanese actors, some of them look effeminate (I don't know why they like to carve their eyebrows, very thin like girls, the contrary to Nichkun's XD) but now the trend changes so it is better now (or I'm used to XD). In fact, my first impressions about Japanese actors were similar to this video, actors vs idols... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLhlWVXbDkw
To conclude, most of the actors are fine but some of them appear more attractive in my eyes :D Each country have their canon of beauty, time changes and "Les couleurs et les goûts ne se discutent pas!!"
3. I disagree with the comment. Each country have their specificity for dramas. In Korean ones, there is a lot of romance whereas in Japanese ones, their comedies are different or about life with a moral at the end (I caricature)... And Taiwanese actions are sometimes slow so if we are not used to these specificities, we'll compare to other dramas that we are used to and say "Well it's not bad for a non-korean drama" but If we are a bit more open-minded, we'll just say "It's a great drama". That's all.
4. Ah language... It's just a matter of habit. At first I had a problem with Mandarin. I think it was easier with Korean and Japanese because their language are syllabic, like in Latin languages. They just have simple sounds like consonants+vowels. But the Mandarin (like the Vietnamese) has a lot of diphtong sounds and for a person used to Latin sound, it can be disturbing. But now with a lot of training, it sounds better :D
5. I never understand why people (even fandoms for idols)... are fighting seriously. I mean you can gently tease but why in a so serious mode? You watch what you want to and be open-minded! Stop being a child.
Excellent drama!! It proves Koreans can make dramas without romance! Watching this drama is like watching a good movie. Love it <3
Lee Sung Min and Im Shi Wan and all the cast was wonderful!
For me, this year, k-dramas were not appealing (maybe I should force myself to watch 3-4 episodes to be immersed into the drama). I really liked family dramas from KBS and dramas/shows from cable channel (TVN, JTBC).
