One of the most fantastic Korean dramas I've ever watched, alongside Misaeng and Signal. Reminds me so much of Mondai no aru restaurant (with the difference that in this J-drama the characters are older). The bonding looks natural. I like the fact that it isn't a feminist statement or anything (I don't have anything against it though, I'm just saying it doesn't have the agressivity mistakenly attribuited to the feminist movement), just a story about girls, who all have their strenghts and weaknesses.

It might be a little bit too slow for some people, but for me, it's what makes it special. I simply love "slower" stories because life is slow, so this kind of pacing makes it real. Also, the cinematography is simply brilliant. The whole pastel tone is so pretty. And, being a little bit superficial right now, the clothes were simply gorgeous, loved the simply styling of Jin Myung-unnie and some of Yi Na shirts and bags were definitely goals. Also, Yoon Park's character is <3

Another great episode. Ji Soo is such a good actor. The entire cast is great but to see him playing a happy character so well makes me so happy! ❤ Cha Sik relationship with his mother, how he treats Yoo Seol, the character is beautifully written and played.

I'm still loving how complicated Seo Jin Mok is too. Can't wait for the last episode, a high quality mini drama, for sure!

Wow! At the beginning I didn't think it would be so good. Kim So Hyun is great as always. I simply loved how conflicted Seo Jin Mok is. Ji Soo's character is my favorite so far, I was afraid he would be loud all the time but he is incredibly cute and his acting is amazing. It's good to see him playing a happy character ♥ Can't wait for the next episode.

Elegant Lies is incredibly sad but it has some of the best acting works that I have ever seen. Loved the cast, mainly Kim Hee Ae and Go Ah Sung.
