I can't anymore. I can't. This drama is awful in my opinion. It makes me so angry and so frustrated with the characters. [Didn't make it through episode 3. Stopped after the first sex scene in it]
This is the first time I've ever disliked a dorama Kame has been in. It was hyped to be racy and sexy and a real 'adult love' story and it's omg, it's bad, it's SO not an adult love story. It's still PG-12 level romance in the way it's presented and dealt with. The newspaper were like 'Kame as new sex symbol' and I'm like 'wtf?! There's better, racier, more sexual doramas out there in Japan! All we see of Kame is his shirt off and you suddenly call him a sex symbol?' wtf seriously. The 'ex-girl' story line is unoriginal and boring.
The only interesting thing to me in this dorama is the other teacher who's having the 'affair' with her. Cos he seems like he could commit murder xD If only this dorama had been a suspense romance about an affair with Kame is the secondary character who doesn't get the girl in the end.
And with the sex scenes! I don't understand the under the covers shit nor the 'don't turn the light on' shit. She's thirty fecking years old!
And OMG in episode 2 with the stupid light switching thing! WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST TELL HIM SHE WANTS TO BE WITH HIM?! What the actual. OMG This really is a story of two teenagers minus the raging hormones.
Makes me so angry and annoyed at how bad this is and I feel bad cos I love Kame so much and all his other works <3
I cannot flaw the messages this dorama has at all but their entire relationship is just laughing out crying at how ridiculous and cringey it is.
I've just seen the first episode. I'm shocked.
I mean in a really positive way. ;///;
Clearly I was expecting way too much from this dorama.
I thought THE scene was a complete disappointment! Especially because of the way the newspapers were like 'Kame is the new sex symbol! They have sex in the first episode!' blah blah blah. It was a boring, cringe worthy scene.
Episode 1 - while it has a cheesy/would never happen in reality set up and a cringy sex scene; the actual message of it 'not liking yourself, having no confidence and wanting other to help you' is very strong and touching.
This dorama appears to be a cross between Yamato Nadeshiko and Tatta Hitotsu no Koi.
First part is a lot stronger and more interesting that the second part. I think they should've intertwined both parts more instead of having them separate.
Am I correct in thinking Fumi is in love with Inosuke? Even though the synopsis says she marries someone else (on episode 4 and still not got to her marriage yet!)

And how she sticks them out when she runs and walks.
