But believe me, the second leads are also! So I believe you can get what you want.
I am going to start saying that this was the best Chinese drama I have ever watched, considering only mainland China. Go Ahead, Le coup de foudre and find yourself are my top c-dramas ever, cause they are not exaggerated, they follow a stable and mature path which turns the story more convincing, that being said, now let's talk about the reason I got here. Go Ahead is about life. Life is never easy, but we have our foundations to lean on.In this particular case, the families that were supposed to be their source of strength, are all lacking in different ways: absence, psychological issues, absence, absence and absence... I am not saying the parents are evil since all had their reasons to act their ways, even Ling Xiao's mother. I must say this is proof that family can also be about love and care, not only about blood. They got together as one, leaning on each other, trusting and hanging in there. This drama made me cry loads, made me think about life and its hardships.
I just fell hard for this drama. Everything is well balanced. The romance, the mystery, the investigation, the humor... It was light and catching all the way through! Bong hee is such an unique and charismatic character... Her interactions with Ji wook are sooooo good that I just can't get enough of them. The second leads are as good as the main and from the best friend to mr.Byun they all gave us different sides of the drama which I definitely enjoyed to see. 10 out of 10 since there was not a single scene that made me sleepy or tired.
I must say when I first saw the teasers it didn't seem original and surprising, but I gave it a chance cause I loved Gangnam Beauty and Cha Eun Woo was also there...to my great surprise this was a masterpiece when it comes do High School dramas. The comedy material is hilarious and even though the male leads had a "cold/unapproachable/serious vibe", they also provided the funniest scenes alongside Ju Gyeong. Totally recommend! Ah... They kiss! Multiple times!which is great and refreshing for a High School Drama.
So... Just finished watching and I gotta say it definitely surprised me with its ending. This is surely an original piece that made laugh, cry, curse the ML and it was totally mind blowing in its finale. Not so sure why many of you didn't like it, but personally it was satisfying to watch . I highly recommend.
