Liked this far more than I thought I would. Expectations were super low going in, so this was a pleasant surprise. Not the best KBL of the year, but not the worst either.
Rewatching in anticipation of the Korean remake dropping this week, and despite all it's flaws this series has it's moments. Zee out here chewing scenery, and those NC-17 scenes? Whew! Shame COVID did the Tommy/Jimmy story dirty, but for what it was when it was, holds a special place in my heart. Curious to see what Korea brings to the table, but right now pickings are slim in KBL's...The Eighth Sense is the bar.
Found this on Prime and I’m a sucker for a good zombie comedy, if you like Shaun of the Dead, Warm Bodies, Cooties, or Little Monsters for sure give this one a watch.
I was not ready for the emotional journey this series took me on. A very well done blend of humour, and emotional heart ache. Outstanding actors, well developed stories, and well paced. Binged through in record time and would love a second season. One of the best dramas I've watched this year, hands down.
Really liked the lead couple, but the other two side couples couldn't care lest skipped through most of their stories, although (without spoiling) I think the one guy made the right choice.
Accidentally ran across this yesterday (IQ thought I wanted to watch it after Chain of Heart) and it's pretty delightful. Solid action, supernatural elements, mystery, romance, interested to see where it goes.
Honestly I would have liked more of the older brother, that would have been an interesting plot to see more of his redemption arch and finding someone, better then the younger bro’s plot.
My big takeaway though; it is socially acceptable and encouraged to drink wine coolers wherever and whenever.
I'm sort of surprised this has such a high rating, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Dragged towards the end and the last couple of episodes meh. They need to give Santa/Earth a better plot to work with....
