Got an extreme case of Second Lead Syndrome, been five yrs and I'm still not over it. I'm someone who roots for the ML 99% of the time but I just couldn't here. I think almost everyone got SLS
WATCH THIS DRAMA FOR THE MAIN COUPLE., THEY'RE WORTH EVER MINUTE. I watched the show for the interactions between the leads. They're cute when they're fighting (just little petty fights) and when they make up. 9.5/10 the rating is based mainly on the main couple, lost 0.5 cause of a things from the plot (nothing really worth mentioning). If I base my rating solely on the main couple, 11/10 they exceed expectations
The main couple is Everything. The kisses, the hugs, the hand holding, everything about the Main leads as a couple is perfect. The chemistry is 100. It's been a while since I've watched a modern Cdrama with such a amazing main couple. Yuan Shaui and Jiang Jun are perfect together. Usually after the main leads get together they become really cringy but that didn't happen here, they became even cuter
This show had so many kisses. More than I've ever seen in a drama And they're natural too. The couple is so natural, the skinship just looks right, like a normal couple
Yi seo is one of the best female leads ever, she's confident and knows exactly what she wants. She is intelligent, pretty and knows it. She's absolutely powerful. She loved searoyi in such a lovely way, wanted all the good things in life for him, that is love, a beautiful kind. She wasn't perfect or an angel, but her imperfections is what makes her even more loveable. She's a Queen that never loses.
Saeoryi...I adore him. He never once gave up even when the situation looked like there was no coming back. He fought hard for everything he had. When he became who he was in the end he never once forgot his values from the first episode. He's a go getter. He did something he'd been refusing to do for yrs just for Yi seo, others weren't happy but I felt it was perfect because he knows what's truly important. Park Saeoryi is a MAN.
Finished. Hmmmmmm..... Weilong is gorgeous, watched the drama just to see him and his smiles. For most of the drama I wanted Yuan long to find someone who deserves him, that he would study abroad and the next time he meets the FL he's successful and with his new gf. I didn't hate the Second ML at first because I felt that the fault lies on the FL, but when Yuan long confronted him in the restaurant bathroom he was too arrogant and proud for someone who chased after another dude's girl and is her rebound, that's when I started hating him. The FL is a moron. There were too many scenes with the FL and second ML, wanted to see Weilong but got nonsense instead. Despite everything 9/10, I enjoyed it
