I'm not sure to want to watch that. I dislike story with serial killers. It's so boring and cliché. Even in a…
I mean, Mouse gives us the serial killer’s perspective in the first 2 eps. The “cop, detective, trying to find the serial killer” part is sure there. Still, what I noticed about other dramas like Beyond Evil (which is airing too), the police and detectives just talk too much, and there’s no action which depends on whether or not the audience is patient. On the other hand, I found Mouse different, and that’s because I believe the writer gives off a new trope of having us know the serial killer’s background and perspective before he’s caught (we don’t know who he is as an adult yet) The serial killer is a psychopath and many believe that it’s actually the main character (not confirmed yet). If you like rom-com, there is a small romance between some characters, which many may find interesting, but I’m personally looking forward to knowing who the psychopath is as an adult. I also like rom-com, but I find the serial killer in Mouse very interesting. Idk if you will have a chance to watch Mouse because you say you look forward to the rom-com bc the serial killer part is boring. Mouse’s plot puts so much focus on the serial killer. If you say that you find the serial killer part boring because the police investigation is also dull, it’s not like that in mouse bc the police investigation part is less talk and more action. Like in ep 5, the police’s investigation was put on a broadcast where the serial killer actually calls and communicates with the detective (sorry for the spoiler) and the ppl of Korea also, which is something I have not seen in other Serial killer’s dramas. If you like dramas that puts so much focus on serial killers (and their motives) and having the investigation go on faster (with a little bit of romance)then I think you’ll like Mouse. If you like how dramas have a combination of genre (rom-com) and only has the serial killer part for the climax of the drama, then I don’t think you should watch Mouse (Mouse has a LITTLE bit of romance but not too much like for ex. Strong Women Do Bong Soon).
Do you guys think that maybe JBR is not the real murderer, but just kills animals? In the beginning of the drama (ep 2) we see that a cat was killed and I don't think the writer will just ignore that. Jaehoon opened up a rabbit and killed his step-father's dog, we are still not sure whether or not he was responsible for his step-family's death tho. Also, we are also still not sure if JaeHoon is the same kid in yellow (that was shown at the beginning of ep1, who in fact is the REAL serial killer cuz they showed us the serial killer's back and a photo of the little kid in yellow beside him). So maybe the serial killer is the 3rd psychopath and is fooling with Yohan and JBR just like how the little kid in yellow bought the mouse to the snake to see who catches who. I think in this case the mouse represents JBR (bc mice hate the smell of peppermint it's a fact and Yohan puts on that smell), the snake is Yohan, and that little kid in yellow is the REAL serial killer who is playing with them.
Yes watching mouse but its making my stomach churn...i need something light & funny now.
If you like Mouse and want something that is funny and light, then the drama Hello, Me! is a good choice. Its funny and it comes out on the same day as Mouse I usually watch it after Mouse for entertainment.
It focuses on the psychopathic gene and that 1% of those who have that gene are actually predators. So the drama is now focusing on a serial killer, who places the entire nation in fear, and that serial killer can be anyone from the characters. What's good about this drama is that the family tree of the characters is so confusing and you get to guess which child is which. Not only that but you'd have to pay attention to small little things in the drama cuz they can be clues of the murderer. The drama is less talk and more action compared to other murder/mystery dramas, where they actually interact with the serial killer. The latest episode had everyone in shock. Like you'd literally gasp and in the first ep you'll literally ask yourself what the hell you just watched. The suspense is just on point. The drama is very GOOD, LIKE VERY! The amount of addiction I have for Penthouse is the same for Mouse. You'll get hooked right away.
Also, you'll get to see a lot of theories on the serial killer in the comments if you watch it on dramacool. It's very fun and interesting to read. Totally recommend the drama!
YESS it’s very mind blowing I can’t even believe we’re not even through that half of the show yet. It’s very interesting! It’s in my top 2 after Penthouse. Mouse and Penthouse are the only dramas so far that got me very engaged and addicted. I can’t believe that the serial killer clowned all of us in yesterday’s ep lol

It’s not true...that was the scene where Rona went to the maid’s house for a job but eventually was tricked. If you rewatch that scene again you’ll see Rona wearing the same clothes and same hair also you’ll see the door and window in the background exactly the same too.
Do you think so? But I thought he had refused to appear in the drama?
Yes I heard that he refused to take Ko Moo Chi’s role but you never know if he was given a diff role. Idk why but his voice is so unique and you can identify it easily (if you watch Mr. Queen) I was sure it was his voice in the beginning but ig we’ll find out
