Whether he trusts her or not is another thing. She didn't put any efforts to prove herself. She should have waited…
Thank you for pointing this out! This aspect of her character is super annoying. She loves playing the victim so much that she allows misunderstandings to fester between them. She never thinks she should explain herself or apologize for doing something wrong. Her victimhood allows her to push him away and always be in the right. I don't think I have even heard her apologize for keeping his son a secret in any of the episodes. Her character is horribly written and it makes the pacing of the drama hard to get through. I have been a bit bored watching some of the episodes.
At this point the title should be The Love You Didn’t Give Me
IKR!! Its my biggest annoyance with the drama so far. The pacing is horrible I am almost bored. How can there be 28 episodes in a romantic drama, we are more than half way through and there is still no real confession or kiss between the leads. It really is the love you didn't give me.
Also, the king didn't like the original queen, but he had feelings for the modern one. Other than that, this show…
Actually thats slightly inaccurate.. he fell deeply in love later with chef but he did have chemistry with the original queen. If you watch the special which aired after mr queen you will see when the king and queen first met. Their connection was off the charts until he found out who she really is and the clan she belonged. He decided to close his heart to her. The chef's personality just allowed him to let his guard down.
Anyone thinking of watching this drama don't waste your time!! I have finally watched it after putting it off for a year. I thought it can't be as bad as the reviews say but trust me it was worst.
I felt like this drama should have been made in the early 2000s. This drama is not a good reflection of a modern love story. The script was all over the place and you can tell the drama doesn't know what its suppose to be so it comes across as super cringey. It was a hidden gender/ office romance/ contract marriage drama that became too exhausting to be truly enjoyed.
The female was something else! Lu Li was not a character easy to sympathize with. No one like her should exist. I have seen innocent FLs I have seen the doormat type and the stupid naive ones but this girl is in a league of her own. I can honestly say I have no idea why she loved the ML. This man was not desirable in any way. He was obtuse, dense, asshole and a ridiculous Jerk for no reason. Usually in dramas all MLs are the typical assholes but the one redeemable quality that they all share is when they accepted their love for the FL they never hesitated to protect and show their love. This ML was the worst!! The FL I just wanted to scream at to get a life and stop obsessing over this man for no reason. She has loved him for years and doesn't even really know him. Lu Li's manner of talking was super annoying. She sounded like a 12 year old when she tried to seem innocent and cute.
The storyline dragged for so long and for no good reason. At the end of it I still wasn't convinced their relationship was worth saving. When she decided to divorce him was the only time I genuinely like the FL for making a smart choice. The ML needed to grow up and start therapy. The same goes for the FL she just lies for no good reason and has the most insane urge to play martyr all the time. It was so annoying!! Every time I saw the ML onscreen I got the urge to smack him and the FL I just wanted to grab her shoulders and shake her to stop the martyr victim act and grow a pair.
Anyways the visuals for this drama is ok.. The acting is so so.. The characters even less likable. I prefered the ML in other dramas such as Eternal love and You are my Destiny. He had more chemistry with his FL in those dramas.
Disappointed with the the first 4 episodes, can’t understand what’s happening
Its complicated I was a bit confused at first too.. It wasn't until episode 5 I figured out what happened. Its fun to watch to the couple fall in love all over again though. At first I was like where are the writers going with this? why does no one remember her. However it seems her planet transported her back to earth at a different time. A year b4 the male lead has met her. So basically the show is happening 1 year b4 what happened in season 1. It might have been a malfunction though and not deliberate on their part since they want her to use her connection to him to steal his harmones or smell. The idiots apparently think it is something being massed produced in a lab.
The trailer is very bad... I don't think this will come any close to the Original K drama.. very bad acting..
try it!! it's not that bad actually.. I've seen worst. It has a serene and quiet tone but the leads grow on you after awhile. The kdrama was a bit larger than life and full of color but this has it's own pace and storytelling. Some scenes are somewhat cliché and overdone but nothing that truly annoys. You can't help but root for the main couple to finally be together!!
I honestly get what you're saying which is why I said I didn't care about the controversy but I took issue with the killing seas creatures and other animals for food when compared to the horse abuse. But I get it u're trying to make ppl see the hypocrisy of blaming the entire show for what happened. Just recently in the US Alec Baldwin an actor had a similar controversy with accidentally shooting someone on set because of the mismanagement of set props. Stuff like this does happen. I don't blame the actors and crew but there should be rules or laws in place to prevent these type of accidents. It starts from the top with ppl requesting stricter measures with the use of live animals, cancelling the show is not always the best solution.
While I don't give a heck about the controversy, ppl have been using the same excuse you just gave and its a ridiculous one. Cruelty to animals is not the same as killing one for sustenance . Where are people getting this excuse from! Calling ppl out on their hypocrisy by comparing killing a fish or swiftly killing a chicken for eating purposes to being unnecessarily cruel to a horse is absolutely ridiculous. I know alot of vegans can argue me under the table about that statement but they are still two different things.
I definitely agree with you. Its worth the watch as it was interesting and the young stars had amazing chemistry together. I think the flaws you highlighted were so pronounced due to the shortness of the drama. It would have been amazing if this was 16-17 episodes and the characters stories were a bit more fleshed out. I felt like I ate a great dinner but was still unsatisfied due to the meagerness of the food in the plate. I was still hungry for more when it ended. And must say this for someone so young Jae Min was hot as hell.. I can't wait to see him other works as he gets older.
I recently started watching this entire series because I ran out of great dramas to watch and am just gonna say I am giving the biggest eye roll gesture of all time. I can't help but wonder when this drama was made, it was released in 2017 but it seems early 2000s. Maybe am being unfair but the popular Leads that am familiar with look really young throughout the entire series. The reason I mention this is the stunts and aesthetics of the drama seem a bit low budget and super lame. I only watched this drama because of Mik Thongraya he's just so beautiful to watch. However this is the best drama of this series and that's saying alot since this one is so cheesy and cringey at times i.e. the dialogue especially. The plot was alright its certainly interesting seeing a scientist and a soldier together. The ML & FL have good chemistry the only saving grace of the whole drama. In order to enjoy I had to suspend my disbelief in people's stupidity and the laws of physics. There was a worth mentioning problem with pacing as I felt bored while watching alot of the episodes, things didn't actually get interesting until the Leads started expressing their feelings for each other. Also it was a bit hard to take so many of the characters seriously like Dr. Napaschon for instance does anyone actually buy this woman as a doctor in her 4 inch heels, face and hair made up everyday at work. That girl Anda who is the all black wearing female leader of the bad guys is a bit much too, it was so hard to take her seriously as a villain. Overall it was an ok ending to the series not worth re-watching for me though.
did you find it subbed anywhere? If so can you please tell me where. thanks
I haven't found it subbed anywhere in its entirety yet.. still looking.. a youtube channel is currently subbing it, its up to ep 4 we will have to wait weekly for eps to be released.. I think you can do a simple search and find it on youtube if not I can post the link if you like
I discovered this little gem after being bored out of my mind while idling away on youtube.. I am enjoying it so far the ML is yummy to look to at the FL has long been a favorite since Love at first Hate. It reminds alot of Kdrama My secret Romance but without the brilliant writing and visuals. At times the dialogue is a bit nonsensical but I am gonna refrain from further harsh criticism as its early days and the drama is still ongoing. So far its a lighthearted drama that is what it appears to be "fluff" but that's ok since their are alot of intense deep dramas currently airing.. I recommend this if you are looking a break from the feels.
the entire series is on youtube with Chinese subtitles but the video provides auto-translation into any language.…
really!? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaX2pdVpmUY try watching on a laptop or desktop computer.. I don't think it gives the option on mobile devices. Am watching the show on my laptop right now
I saw an mv with some great scenes. I am looking forward to the kisses lol. Could you say when the first one happened?…
true but for some reason I can't take Lin Hao ying seriously as a contender for her heart. maybe its his kid like manner as u say. I thought they might have used the uncle of Ying in a love triangle way but they haven't so far.
I saw an mv with some great scenes. I am looking forward to the kisses lol. Could you say when the first one happened?…
he eventually figures it out like somewhere after ep 17.. he was always suspicious though and wondered why she interested him so much though as a guy. He did start to pursue her somewhat in later ep however I never took him seriously as contender for her heart he was just too ridiculous and funny like a kid really. I feel he only did it to mess with the ML
I saw an mv with some great scenes. I am looking forward to the kisses lol. Could you say when the first one happened?…
I agree their chemistry was actually what made me stuck it out and watched the drama cause as I said the plot is non existent. Its actually not that bad though don't want to spoil for you but he wasn't that upset when he found out about the switched. Lin Hoying her colleague on the drama is so awesome though he just so naturally funny and adorable. My favorite character so far
I saw an mv with some great scenes. I am looking forward to the kisses lol. Could you say when the first one happened?…
the drama is 30 episodes long the first real romantic kiss happens in ep 17 hence why I mentioned the dramas issues with pacing the kiss could have happened earlier. The FL and her brother both get equal screen time their switch never feel unnecessary in any moment however there is no confusion as to who the ML falls in love with and he eventually finds out about the switch and can identify each twin when switched. The drama gets really funny and entertaining after the first 8 episodes. The ML and FL get to really fall in love and spend alot of time together after episode 11.. I haven't completed the drama yet but the later episodes are worth the wait
