There is just something abt this show… like I can see all the weird cuts and continuity issues but why am I…
Agree!! Especially when people compared it with the original novel. The novel and screenplay might be different due to creative decisions, production, writing, direction, and of course budget.
I chose to enjoy the series with zero expectations even though I already read the novels. This way, the series becomes more enjoyable to watch. Weird cuts and awkward acting from some actors also the chemistry between them make the We Are series complete.
It’s not original though, it’s an adaptation of a book by jittyrain
I know, but according to the director, the book wasn't complete when the director pitched the story and he even helped with some ideas about the storyline etc.
I know before I said I had no complaints but a comment here reminded me: God I can't stand the singing. this is…
because BL content is an IP and the actors/actress is expected to be a full round entertainer not just 'acting' but singing, stage performance and last but not least do some fan service contents. songs are the powerful instrument in BL contents in this case GMMTV made the actors/actress to sing the song as part of the IP vertical.
Usually I don't like group-of-friends kinda story but We Are is different. They brought the feeling of friendship, youthfulness, laughter and nostalgic uni life, something that we all missed after graduating and entering work life.
those "brightwin" fans are something....HE lost 100k followers on instagram...100k is no jokeyall are fucking…
100K out of (initially) 18.7M followers isn't the big deal statistically imho. Better to lose 100K toxics and keep the rest 18.6M true fans who appreciate his works and not use him as a shipping tool with another actor.
brightwin were very lucky that the show came out when it did
True this! If the show were released in 2022 onwards, I don't think they are as BIG as now because nowadays we see so many young talented couple/BL actors (who can act) around coming from Y series with good plots/stories.
Also nowadays the audience is clever, the plot and the story are becoming the main topics to consider apart from the actor himself. Pretty face is one thing, script is one thing.
I think If the show were released in 2022, BrightWin would only be the "average BL actors", not the superstars like we see them today.
I love them too, but I don’t know if I should start watching this. Is it really that messy? Like what’s going…
To my surprise, I love the show! I underestimated the show and didn't watch anything until last night lol. Ep 1 is hilarious and the dialogue is witty lol
I love this show! I've been laughing a lot at every character's antics also the script is hilarious (if you understand Thai), lol! I haven't read the book (yet), and now I'm curious!
Another day, another disappointment by GMMTV. It's incredible how they never thought about Ohm Phawat carrying…
Sea is underrated. He's not an exceptional genius actor yet but I can see that he's improving. Last Twilight is a testament of his capability.
Agree with you that this drama will end up like F4, an idol drama, without strong acting coming from the chosen actors. I put my hope on Perth and Tu acting - given her last movie, หลานม่า (Lahn Mah) was something. While others, I only see them as idol-actors with weak acting capabilities. I hope some improvement happens during the workshop/reading session for this big ambitious project.
Also, to take note, whoever the director is, please avoid "push" product placement!! Can you imagine them drinking that OISHI Apple Honey drink in the period drama?????
