Please, let me live in my delulu bubble 🥹 If Meng Ziyi can star with three guys in rotation, Lulu and Leizi can happen one day too 😤 (no hate to MZY tho! I happen to love all three of those pairings, hehe)

The father is giving me the creeps... He seems so unhinged and unpredictable, like he could either stab you or drop to his knees kowtowing, and it's a roll of dice for which one it will be.

That perfect 90° angle of his long, long legs... Sure is a sight to behold 😏

Wasn't it a big thing that during one of the interviews he said that he used lots of his own clothes for the styling of Luan Nian? Man's got TASTE.

Just finished it, and putting all my feelings regarding the drama itself aside... WHY in the name of all that is holy did no one pair Lu Yuxiao and Cheng Lei as leads yet??? Hello? Everybody saw this absolute raging fire that was their chemistry here, so what's the problem? You're telling me in 3 YEARS nobody thought to recreate this otherwordly magic in their own drama? Especially considering MJTY vaulted them both up into leading role status? We're actually getting LYX with Zhang Linghe (most likely) before LYX with Leizi? Be for real now.

I was thinking that Luan Nian needs to put a sock in it since he cannot seem to be able to talk nicely, but he upgraded to venomous text messages 🫣 So... Break his fingers?

His OST for The Early Spring is perfection 😍

Emotionally stunted fashionista 🤣 🤣🤣Perfect description!

Nobody's surprised since it's a Leizi's drama 😂

He is absolutely killing it with Zhao Ling's character! Such a layered and nuanced performance, nailed down to minute details like posture (to hell with all the haters). And don't even get me started on how expressive his eyes are! I really, really liked him as Ziqi in LGiEF, but ZL is on a whole new level 😍

Zhao Ling may be a cheeky softie overall, but that makes scenes like this one all the more impactful; he's nice but he's also a tough guy hardened by years of hardship, and is not below cruelty, although never unjustified. I simply love Ding Yuxi's portrayal of ZL, he's capturing all those complexities per-fect-ly!

Holy hell, that crossbow kill was ice cold! And hot as fuck at the same time, go figure 😏

The way Zhao Ling is looking at Tingyun in that upcoming sparkler scene... The feelings are so apparent in both of them 😍 They need to get married like yesterday, c'mon!!!

I absolutely adore Tian Xiwei and I know she'll be great, but unless Hu Yitian evolved from a wooden plank to a real boy I don't think I can stomach it 🫣

My mid-length drama queens Ke Ying and Fang Jin in one drama? Sign. Me. Up.

She's already improved so so much! I watched Generation to Generation and couldn't stand her acting there, and wasn't even planning on picking this one up because of her, but lo and behold, she is actually pretty good here.

The way Ye Li seems fine while simultaneously looking completely out of it in this cobweb-covered ghost town was truly chilling and heart-wrenching. And MXY's remorse and agony, which kept deepening the more he's seen... Bai Lu and Cheng Lei are giving an absolute masterclass in acting these past few episodes.

Bao Shangen and Zhou Keyu are insanely good together! This Zhang Jingyi and Chen Feiyu in L&P levels of chemistry we're looking at here, folks 🥰

Mo Xiu Yao chanelling his inner Song Mo is truly a sight to behold 😍 Now, if only he let that hair down...

He basically told her he loves her in artist language 😭
