As someone who hates love triangles more than anyone, this one wasn't that bad. Because FL see him as a friend only. There's also an age gap. FL doesn't see him as a man but rather like a young brother maybe. There's no wishy washy movement here.

There's an annoying SFL interested in ML from the start. But ML doesn't give her a chance.
There is an SML interested in FL too, but FL sees her as a fried but they do spend a lot of time together and he gets rejected.

FL chose revenge in this manner by marrying ML's father.
For her, revenge was more important than the pain it would cause her loved one. That's betrayal towards him regardless.

ML had the women once he supposedly loved beaten., as a revenge for the betrayal.

Both were wrong. Both of them don't deserve what happened to them. But that's not an excuse to their behavior. In a way both deserve each other or bot doesn't deserve each other. Neither is in a moral right.

Why was the biological sperm donor not arrested immediately after the interview by prosecution as he was a suspect in attempted murder of the insurance agent. I finished it. I found him creepy and possessive douche though. Yes he's in a codependent relationship growing up a toxic family and all, but it's not justifiable. He does protect FL in his own way. The way he acted with SY is more than a protective brother, controlling, may be not as much as the mother. Erasing SY's message on the window glasses showed his true color. It's not about him wanting to save her from mother but wanting her for himself. He does have a good character growth by the end.

That makes her shittier and more passive though.
