The leads are really famous and they have a lot haters specially yang zi
she can singlehandedly carry most of her dramas that's why other fandoms can't stand her
And here Xu Kai is also really famous
the more famous you are the more haters you have they're main reason why this drama is getting low ratings
Some other reasons are: people don't have patient, they want quick romance and it's a slow burn
And people can't stand the mother but she is important for female lead's character development (same with the ex boyfriend and his family)

A bit controversial but I find the Mother very amusing, like if she wasn’t like this I think I wouldn’t like this drama this much
She keeps me entertained and never cease to amaze me😭 Like when you think she can't get any worse she always surprises 😭
