Yes, I am currently watching Boss and a Babe and it's cute, fluffy, and simple. Normally I wouldn't like these types of shows and I am seeing the drag a little bit, but it's a nice little break from heavily plotted shows so I'm enjoying myself right now. I actually took a break from ToaTS unintentionally and I tried picking it back up, but don't feel the plot at the moment, so maybe I'll pick it back up later on but for now, that show is on pause. But Khaotung plays rather innocent, simple characters in both shows so if you're basing your opinion on those two shows where he's a minor character I see why you're wavering when it comes to Khaotung's characters. I actually had to convince one of my friends to continue The Eclipse because I'll admit, the first episode is a bit weirdly paced, but it's sooooo good. It's another one of my favorites and deals with heavy topics too, such as mental health, discovering and accepting your own sexuality, and defying social norms. It rides alongside "Not Me" and "Bad Buddy" for me. If you ever feel like giving it a second try, I will highly advise you to, because it truly is a masterpiece. The acting is immaculate, and the heavy topics are explored so healthy, and you can see the character development of each character at the end. Firstkhao are also my favorite pairing, so I try not to be too biased in my suggestions but it's hard not to when they continue to impress me with their versatility. Also, if you have ever seen them behind the scenes, you can see how much comfort, respect, and love they have for each other. They actually wanted to play alongside each other for years so I'm glad they got the opportunity to, and they still talk about their hopes for future projects together haha.

That's... interesting because I personally would put Khaotung at least in the top 5 when it comes to gmmtv actors 😭 but hey, we all have different tastes so that's alright. What shows did you see him in? And honestly, he's the most complex character in this show, he makes me scream with frustration but cry with understanding and sadness. So overall, I think this is one of his best acting gigs so far. I assumed you were talking about ForceBook because some people were iffy at first and weren't sure of their talent, but they have won over most, if not all, of the Only Friends watchers. Also, this is a role unlike any that First has done, so you will love him in this. Trust me, you will not regret starting this. Give it a few chances though, because I admit it can be frustrating at times, but the characters are so humanly flawed, the writing is spectacular and there are so many hidden messages/meanings in the dialogue and plot. Let me know what you think of it if you start it! (:

If you don't mind me asking, who's the second ML you're referring to? Personally, firstkhao have outdone themselves yet again and this show has shown just how versatile the actors are. Also, this is the first Forcebook show I've seen while Neomark are a new ship. But honestly (and I say this as unbiased as possible because I love the actors) the acting is exquisite. Literally the best cast I could think of and each and every one of the actors feels like the characters, they give the complex characters justice. Of course, it's messy, but this show is more than just sex and drama like a lot of people presume. It deals with mental health issues, substance abuse, and figuring out one's identity while being a young adult who's about to graduate from college. Personally, Only Friends is one of my favorite thai BLs this year (maybe even overall) and got me out of my slump because, after a while, most shows become repetitive. So, without giving too much away, I recommend this show, 100% (just have tissues nearby and be warned you will be so frustrated with some characters but so understanding and touched by others lol).

It's 12 episodes, but on October 12th they're having a stream where the cast and others reflect on what's happened so far. They have a final episode screening in Thailand on October 28th, which is when episode 12 airs. (but there are also rumors of a season 2)

Came here to say I have a lot of conflicting emotions (that I personally don't understand, as my opinions change every hour while reading other people's thoughts and feelings), but the one thing I do know is I'm glad that Mond is Boeing haha.
I, along with a lot of others, was expecting and anticipating Mix. But that's because someone like Mond didn't even cross my mind! I'm surprised Mond is the love interest in a BL... but I can't say I'm disappointed. Mond is sooo fine and seems like the perfect fit for an ex who is so addicting lol.
I also hope Boeing is also Sand's ex and we get a flashback and a present SandBoeing scene so that Ray can feel somewhat jealous and realize how Sand must have felt seeing Raymew lol. I'm so excited for the next episode.

I NEED Sandray to see Boeing. I need a bit of jealous Ray so he can know how it felt like for Sand to see Raymew lol. But overall, I'm happy about the direction that Sandray is going and am excited for the next episode. But.. something tells me we're going to get calm and love and then the 2nd Sandray fight scene at the end of episode 11 so I just have to prepare myself.

Also.. I was not expecting Mond at all but I can't say im disappointed at all. i forgot just how FINe that man is haha. Like okay Mew... go to Top. Top, send Boeing my way thank you very much.

they were probably just both tired and like a couple of besties, talked their situations out and decided on a spontaneous "getaway" to breathe and relax. also, Sand is poor, but he talked about having some money he's saved up and how he spends money on things he wants to because of all his side gigs (i think this was around the episode where sand and ray spend the whole day together and talk about sands day to day life). so i would assume with sand and nick dividing the price, renting a trailer at a place that has multiple for people to camp at shouldn't be too expensive.

wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen because even them touching each other gets them all awkward, plus we haven't had any solid good kiss scenes yet.

i just rewatched the official trailer and the pilot trailer and realized that the "cuffing" scene is in the pilot one, so we actually may not be getting it...

Yeah, I didn't notice your reply until now. But I've been watching this show every Saturday since the first episode aired, so I've been caught up. Putting episode 5/6 aside (in which I wanted to know more about why you felt the way you did then, but I understand it was weeks ago so you may not remember). I was also just curious how you felt about the characters now and how you would rank them (and I say this as a Ray defender who still believes he should be held accountable for certain scenarios). lol.

Yes... but at the same time, they're showing how money talks, which unfortunately happens in real life. Such as the recent episode where they have Top bribing the police... but if the trailer is continuing to be accurate, we're headed towards a scene where Ray seems to be cuffed and going to jail.

Same.. i don't know how to feel about the redemption arc that they are giving Top....

i just saw this comment lmao. but from what i remember around my original comment, Sand didn't really know about Ray's addiction. And I'm sure Sand knows that Ray wasn't looking for pity and just wanted company. If he stopped pouring the alcohol, im sure Ray would have gotten annoyed/or would feel uncomfortable with the change of atmosphere. But I see your username is "RayDefender",, so please, enlighten me with your perspective of the show as of now.

I applaud Book and Force (and rest of the cast OFC but they get the least praise), they gave it their ALL this episode.

1. Top - I never imagined that I would feel bad for this man. But, in a sense, it's the same type of feelings I have for Nick (their begging gives me secondhand embarrassment and I genuinely pity them, and they're (respectfully) pathetic characters in my eyes). Force did such a good job this episode, his expressions and acting was amazing.
2. Mew - I applaud Book so much, he did such good justice to this character. I was genuinely afraid of this man. When he confronted Boston? And he SMILED and ate him up? So iconic. His scenes with Top were so tension filled I had to pause so many times.

Literally, Only Friends does it for me every episode and I look forward to every Saturday.

that's so true, when mew met up with nick and suggested teaming up, i was like "no way nick is going to want "revenge on boston" but i bet in the future, nick will have enough and will want revenge" but i was not expecting it that fast? and if anything this would make boston hate nick even more... so i wonder why nick ratted out boston?

Okay, I'm about to put my opinion where it is not asked BUT it must be said. Where’s the hate concerning Topmew coming from? I don't get it? The acting is exquisite and they literally are giving what their characters are supposed to give.

To start off with: Mew. Mew is that type of character that is not meant to stand out. He's supposed to be "boring" as he's seen as a typical, average young adult. He's super smart, "innocent" and normally just a background character when it comes to his friend group. Book is giving just that, if he was more exaggerated in his acting, it wouldn't fit the character.

And Top. His character is everything that is wrong with men. He reminds me of the typical, rich, spoiled young adult who has never had to face any consequences in his life. He has a very influential background given to him by his parents, and in turn, he sleeps around, does drugs, and uses whomever he wants to for his advantage while being “charming” to those who don’t know him. He's just supposed to be an overall bad and infuriating character. Force is.. let’s be honest. He’s super hot and gives off that cocky vibe in this character and it’s so good.

Topmew are in the beginning of their relationship. Top likes Mew because he's never had to work for sex so Mew excites him. He seems to be the guy that "never loses" so he sees Mew as a prize. Mew, in turn, knows he's the type of guy that guys like Top don't fall for, so while he seems to think he knows what he's doing with Top, he seems to be losing his control as episodes go by, so I’m excited to see what he does about it. So yes, this couple together is infuriating because we know Top slept with Boston, and Mew also seems a bit too good to be true (suspicious) so we can't watch their dates with a clear mind and go "aww" because at the end, we don't want them together.

I think ForceBook are keeping up really well with the other pairs, and I hope people don’t bring their hatred for their characters into their feelings concerning the actors. I am currently watching A boss and a babe and I like it so far, but it doesn’t feel like I’m watching ForceBook because their characters there are so different from here😂. They’re really diverse actors, and I’m excited for the show to progress and see nothing but my love for the actor's chemistry and acting go up from here.
