I'm a reader, a casual drama watcher, and a literary scholar.

It's been 14 years since I began watching Asian drama, and while a lot has changed along the way, a few things stayed the same:

• I'm all about those open endings; not everything needs a closure.
• Life is too short to sit through a boring drama. I am quick to fast-forward or drop what fails to excite me.
• Life, family and food are my go-to genres, —rom-coms are my least fav ones.
• After 10+ years of attempting Japanese, I'm waving the white flag and looking to join fansub communities (yep, that's why I'm finally updating my profile!).
• My latest soft-crush is Suzuki Ryohei, thanks to Gekokujo Kyuji (though this could change any day).
