This is what I said to them. Both couple basically similar. Gao tu & hua yong like their partner because their partner is the only one in the world that show them kindness. They’re both still in early stage of relationship. Both couple still getting know each other and progressing slowly. I even could say the first couple progressing faster since the second couple have known each other for years but they stuck in early stage of relationship.

Basically the first couple also not a truly a couple . When they’re start to live together they’re not couple. Shao you still unsure that’s why he still sleep with other omega. Shao you start to get serious since hua yong disappearance which is episode 6. Even hua yong still unsure and still feels insecure with his relationship untill now.They’re still in early stage of relationship. Hua yong still trying to make shao you completely in love with him. They don’t even have sex yet. Also never put any mark on each other.

Then think about it from perspective of the second couple what do they have? They don’t share hobby, they don’t have happy moment, shen wen lang mouth always hurt gaotu, they don’t share activites except work, they don’t discuss anything except work and gao tu’s sister. If you look it that way both couple basically the same.

I’m in dillema if they give us 2 episodes per week then it would end quickly which mean we get less Desire 4 weekend live. Also less promotional content.

Of course he is. He doesn’t have any correlation with hua yong and this episode focus on hua yong story.

Hua yong story I think will revealed at later episode. Sheng shao you feels at home when he is with hua yong since his family is broken. He cares about hua yong very much. He is going crazy when hua yong dissapeared and accept hua yong eventhough he thought hua yong is not pure anymore (he used to be playboy that only want pure omega), he stop seeing other omega, in later chapter in the book he even choose hua yong safety than his father life.

They did a lot they live together so they must be talk and spent many times together. Shao you feels comfortable with his life with hua yong since he never had a warm family since his mother died. So live with hua yong makes him feels secure. That’s why he scared of losing hua yong, like when he thought hua yong get kidnapped in previous episodes. He also stop spending his rut with other omega because he know hua yong don’t like it. I think small things like that show their relationship is getting deeper and deeper.

Actually they share hobby. They like to read books. That’s why they read book together in episode 8.

Gambling and not working is one of ther reason why shaou you don’t like him. But he is evil because he kidnapped and tried to kill shao you in the next episode

His brother always envy shao you. Actually shao you is too kind to all of his siblings. All of his siblings never work but always spent big sum of money. Shao you is the one that paid all of their expenses. The younger brother in particular love to gamble. You will see in the future episode that this brother is truly evil.

They’re support character. Every character besides the protagonist is basically support character and they don’t have to appear on every chapter and every episode. The actor also know it’s not 4 main characters. The mains are hua yong & shao you. Li pei en tried to auditioned as shao you because he know shaou you is the main character.

Edit: want to add shen wen lang has more importance in the story than gao tu that’s why he appear in many chapters and episodes.

sorry but it’s not two main couples. It’s main couple and side couple. Sorry if you get the impression it was 2 main couples, but it’s not. You said the author can deviate a little bit like revenged love author, they already did that with the side couple. The side couple have very little material in the novel. They already expand them and very generous with the screen time. The reason they feel more seen in this LA compare with the novel it’s because they’re increasing the second couple scene. If they follow the novel you will get 5 episodes without gao tu apperance until now. They don’t get dedicated solo chapter in the main story and then get like a couple chapters in the extras. So you need to wait untill the very end of the book to know their story.

Also assuming the novel have many sex scenes with little plot?? The book have very little sex scenes. And even the description of the sex scenes is vague because of censorship.

It’s clear from the start the second couple is the side couple. It’s not the main one of course they have less screen time. In the source material they have very little appearance. They’re already generous with with their screen time in this drama. Promotional material is different from the actual drama. It’s good that they’re promoting them equaly maybe the author considerate with all of the actors feelings. They maybe just want to make fans happy that’s why they promote the second couple equally for fanservice. So what do you want? You want them to stop promote them equaly because many people get deceive by the second couple importance in the series? Because increasing the second couple is impossible since the source material is so little.

But shao you is always a softie. If his step brother being nice to him a little bit he forgive him easily. He even pay his debt. Hua yong also said shaou you looks tough outside but too soft inside.

In the book they don’t even kiss in this scene. During this part it’s from chen pin ming pov so we don’t know what happen to shao you.

In the novel there’s a method to supress the rut using a doll that filled with omega pheromones. Shao you did that after he is being loyal to hua yong. Maybe wen lang did that too.
