One of the reasons the couple doesn't have the dramatic problems you're looking for is because they trust each other and communicate unlike most Asian dramas where all the drama could have been avoided with trust, communication and honesty. However, you are right about the FL definitely not being into the kissing scenes.

You seem to have forgotten after or before each kiss then bed scene they eat. The last 5 episodes are pretty much kiss - bang - eat. Also I agree no pregnancy or kid either with all those time skips was a big disappointment.

Fast forwardable is a good way to put it. You can pretty much fast-forward the last 5-6 episodes completely and not miss anything.
