I prefer realistic people with lots of flaws, as the ML and FL and myself. The movie is all about that! I recommend all scenes of the movie. And, honestly, after i was shocked reading what you wrote, i still can't understand how can you say it's a great movie without the last 20 minutes!!! How can anyone skip that last song!!!???

Maybe the enjoyment of watching at home depends on the company. I think the story still remains and yes, there is beauty,but that doesn't need a large screen. I think, nowadays, this cinematography pace and rhythm belongs to a different past, where love, even if afar, could be "touched"

I agree. I think in the beginning I had the feeling that he used his son to blackmail her. Don't understand her actions in the end and it really messed up the drama since it was the only thing that I was expecting to see the end.
