Short and sweet with bits of stupid resolutions...
I just rewatch this drama. Is is simple, short and...STORY - The Artist Rae Wan and Translator Eun Seong are best friends for almost 10 years. He loves her since long ago and she don't view him like that.
One day she kiss him and... She regrets, he falls even more for her and...
She is so selfish that she chooses nothing to love, because if there was a breakup she will loose his friend. The problem is that they stay apart for a year, couldn't never understand Korean love and timing...
One day she saws a poster about his exhibition with her, all about his love for her. So she barges in to his house, one year after she left...
ACTING - wonderful acting by both, who are the main actors of the drama.
OST - interesting because it is a part of the drama.
REWATCH - It is so short so why not
THE ENDING - don't know how I could end this drama, but it felt below my expectations...
OVERALL - could be an amazing drama, short and sweet. The 1 year gap and some decisions were strange for me.
But, I now know that Korean dramas are not all toooooooo long!! They can do things in the right amount of time...

How many years should love wait?
It was interesting to watch but, for me, it was too long. The length wasn´t needed.STORY - The story is kind of cute. Yan Mo is the best student in the school. Qiao Yi is one of the worst. They share the classroom desk and, it seemed, that nothing else had they in common. But, the truth is that they share a lot of things, like feelings for each other, the notion of family, perseverence, honesty and stubbornness that make them grow apart when things got hard for Qiao Yi's family.
Yan Mo is quiet, almost too strange for everyone except Qiao Yi. She is the glue that stick them together and fuels his love. He is patient, he loves silently and is always watching over for her and that is why she will love him, like Nick Cave's song...'till the end of the world.
Her brother and her best friend are also cute. Also Da Chuan and You Mei are nice.
The business, the company has some part in this but it is not very interesting to me.
ACTING - i think the acting is very good for the main characters.
OST - didn't catch my attention but i think it does the job.
REWATCH - No, because is too long and there are better dramas for me.
OVERALL - i liked it. If you are looking for a slow pace love that is it. An odd couple that function well together...but still strange for me...

The beginning is one of the best!!!
I rewatch it a month ago...I enjoyed it more because i knew what was coming.
The story is interesting, the separated lovers and the endlessly effort to reunite. I didn't like the plolitics, wish it has more "hospital" time, more interesting ways of showing the awesome skills of Park Hoon.
A little long to me, could be cut to 10 or 12 episodes.
I think the end is ok, a little rushed for me.
I don't understand Park Hoon decision of living in a remote place and a remote hospital Is he going to waste his ans Hang Seung Hee skills?
I was completely addicted in the first 8 to 10 episodes! But after that, they did dragged a little: don't understand the 16 episodes formula. Few dramas deserve so many episodes and most of them tend to drag the story.
Overall, this could be a master piece but it fail to deliver...
But, if you like beautiful and true love, a plot with lots of twists and mistery, great moments of suspense, excitement, specially in the O.R., them please watch it!

Awful as romance; little better as historical - péssimo romance e pouco melhor como histórico
What's this drama about? If it's based on a love story between Saimdang and Lee Gyeom, the story is horrible. It begins with a beautiful love affair between both. They swear happiness and you can see an extreme empathy, a deep knowledge of the other. Two creators wrapped in love. But...
Saimdang is a woman who, due to an unconscious error with a painting condemns her father to the death and the man who loves her to a life of suffering and loneliness. She marry a stingy, stupid, unfaithful man with all the flaws of the assholes. She even lives with her children and him and his mistress in the same house... Saimdang has four children who loves and educates them exemplarily. Her struggle and life is amazing, except for what she provoked in the man who loved her throughout her life as an adult. She will abandoned the man who did and does everything for her, who condemned himself to death for her, who supported her and saved her countless times and stay with her children (of course) and her disabled husband. Apparently, she apologizes to her husband for having married without love and with an ignorant (as if he did not know and was not common at that time...). Moreover, she still says that a man who spends all the money on drink and women, who gets a job without deserving it (due, there it is, to Gyeom) who is unfaithful, etc. is a good father. Apparently, for her, being a good father is playing games with her children, having fun with others, not working or studying and having no responsibility. After all, being responsible is only for the mothers, in her opinion.
Therefore, despite condemning Gyeom to eternal suffering, she still sends him to Italy because he will be an artist to be remembered and praised for centuries... It reminds me of Goethe's book, Werther, which made many men commit suicide out of love. So, we see the story happen: she is happy with her children, in her Korea, with her friends and family... And the man who loves her is creating works in Europe, pieces of art that overflow with suffering and hurtful love. We already know that being happy doesn't provoke the same creativity... the artist suffers but the rest of the world will contemplate his work. And the creator, sad and suffering lives in her shadow, looking at the moon, without the wing given to his beloved, broken in his suffering body.
Gyeom has bad luck at the same time: having fallen in love with Saimdang and that Choi Whieum Dang has fallen in love with him. And is life is to suffer...
We still think they can meet in a future life. The drama made me have that assumption and Saimdang still thinks that. However, at the end of the story we still realized that she has reached... success, living well with family. And he's photographing her from a distance...
For that reason, I believe that Gyeom, in a past life, must have slaughtered thousands, no! Millions of people for sure!! And of those, the whole family of Saimdang. And she will swear at that time to revenge them! And how did she get revenge!
If drama is seen as history...
Interesting the part of paper creation, the shape and techniques of painting, painting as an extension of words and poetry. Dramas have often portrayed the King as an imbecile with persecution complex, a patriarchal and unjust society. Minor plots, a woman that loves a man and wants to destroy him… There, Saimdang and Gyeom are exemplary in their conduct. And they have the fruit of their labor? Noooooooo! She raises her children in harmony and in the arts and he gradually fade in misery, unearthed in Italy. I didn't even know there was an Italy in Joseon era, but it looks like Seo Ji Yoon knew.
I will never review this drama, for my masochistic part was left in Bologna. The interesting thing is that Saimdang was a real fantastic woman and here she is not portrayed this way. But it's my fault, because I really wanted Gyeom to have a slice of happiness beyond Mount Geumgang... But the drama is about her...
The parts of the present are boring, the connection of Saimdang and Seo Ji Yoon seems stupid and meaningless, even more knowing that nothing will happen in the future with the photographer, Gyeom reincarnation ...

Too long and lot of loose ends
Started very good. I was excited for each episode wondering what did happen in the beginning of the story but...ML had a friend that married his ex-wife. Why did she betrayed him? How does that happen and why? Then he marries a stupid woman. Even worse.
His friend seemed a bad person, Stoke the wife, winning to her and... So bad.
Those stories remained unanswered.
The FL was very beautiful and nice. But the writers thought that she could be useless and cried a lot.
The villain (was there any?) Is boring. Did all those awful things because of pride? What did his son do except cheating on his friend and tell him that in his face? What a lousy ex wife she was...
The ending? How can a game restart after correcting only some mistakes. Wasn't Marco one of them?
I don't want coherence in a Syfy story. But I want coherence in the relationships of the characters...
Flashbacks... Don't understand why some dramas are so long and use lots of unnecessary flashbacks. I think the viewers are not Stupid. Well, that may be not true since there are reviews of 1 to 10 stars...
ACTING - good
OST - Flamengo is always nice
PLOT - bad characters development and explanations
Will never REWATCH IT.
Fantastic accent by Park Shin-hye! She is great!

The end killed me...
Well, I just finished this drama and...For me the end is not good. I want romantic plots and not action disguise with strange romance. For that I have HEALER or K2 or ...
There are some good moments. The chemistry between the 2 male leads ( don't think I could call it bromance) is good as the friendship.
OST - didn't get my attention
ACTING - was good, specially the male leads
REWATCH it? - no, never
The plot is boring, the romance is not interesting. I was expecting some more from the secondary couple but I don't get why she didn't divorce her husband. That doesn't make sense even if it was for the kid.
Bad bad bad for me... So there's a person that completely give up any happiness to be a spy and marry and have a kid with a man that is bad, treats her awful and blackmailed her with her child and ...
Stupid to me. How can a pragmatic woman do that?
Don't know what to say about that but, as I was reading some reviews, no one seems to care about that.

Bit too long
Interesting drama but a bit too long. I don't follow much of the k world, so maybe I don't know why the 16 episodes formula. With some exceptions, most of the dramas could have fewer episodes...STORY - A simple story with great FL acting.
I liked the chemistry of the main couple, the acting of the secondary characters, their relationships. The struggle to become human is the main reason.
ACTING - FL was awesome,ML was good. Great chemistry and well performances by almost the entire cast.
I think that a 1000 years Gumiho should be more clever. There was a story and then almost nothing happens.
OST - can't remember very well so...
REWATCH? - there are a lot of cute or funny moments so, it is rewatchable for sure.
I don't understand why the love triangles. Is there a thing on Korea about that? Is it the dream of everyone to be involved in one?
I think, personally, the females actresses are gorgeous. But I don't understand the way they portrait beauty, as if someone looks could be the most important thing...

The start was awesome and promising. But, after some episodes, it was all the same. The game of cat and mouse is good until some point.
Don't understand the revenge, the way that all ends...
Like the couple between Ms Oh and the prosecutor.
Why should most of the guilty, the criminals, the people that done wrong things end up harmless?
Lots of loose ends. Only one punished and locked?
ACTING is good, ML was great and so the brothers...
OST one of the song reminds me of one theme from Dune of David Lynch...
Will never REWATCH because I already know the outcome.
Well, the ending was a disappointment to me... The drama is building up until the climax that never happens.

Poor story
In this pandemic time I crave for romance, even if it's not realistic or the plot has lots of incongruent moments. Here we have so many annoying things.
ML very sensitive but weak in some ways. Don't understand why he thinks he abandon his friends in this stupid entertainment business.
FL with lots of prejudice and very different from what a reporter should be.
The couple has some chemistry.
The story of the search for his father doesn't had anything to the story, also his mother.
Liked the couple that got married.
FL friends could show up more.
Maybe, because I don't like k-pop or the news and lives of the actors, I didn't like this show much.
I like dramas, the acting and the stories. And love between the characters.
OST has some interesting songs
Will not rewatch this. Better dramas to rewatch for sure...

I think this only works without seeing season 2.
I like a lot this drama, but only is coherent with season 2...Therefore, I will not make any comment in this review. Those I will leave them to the review in the second part, because it is the necessary continuation and closing.
I know that the production of this kind of dramas is different, so i can only say that this review only makes sense if i write it after watching the second part. I wished there was a third, but with the second we can rest and smile.
OVERALL - Please watch this series. The acting, the simplicity and the story are worth of your time.

The theme is interesting, but the drama is not
The Korean society seems more prone to suicide than most of countries. The theme is important, but the drama did not kept me interest in it .The way the afterlife organisation was constructed was annoying to me. Lots of holes with weird outcomes. The past story of the characters were very superficial, the different teams, etc.
STORY - maybe a message of hope to some people who are in a down part of their life. For them, please keep up! But nothing more...
Most of the suicide stories were very boring for me, but maybe lots of people can see themselves in those struggles.
ACTING - wonderful the lead actress. The other 2 members of her team were ok. And that is it.
MUSIC - do not remember any of the songs or melodies...
REWATCH - never. There isn't a single scene I would like to see again.
OVERALL - a different theme rapped up in a fantasy world of the death. I realised that there are thousands of grim reapers with nationality! Amazing!

A drunken sword master stole the real plot
I love martial arts movies! I did not like this one. The story is so stupid, with Seol Rang being a complete nonsense. I even prefer simple revenge, or an assassin that flies into the clouds, or killing sprees of hundreds than this. Moreover, the reviews! When I read some of the reviews I was amazed how someone with a bad written opinion could rate this with 8 or more!!!!!!
I will not give spoilers, so I stop here.
STORY – completely stupid, 3 friends fighting the injustice: Seol Rang, Deok Ki and Poong Chun. Then, Deok Ki betrayed the other 2 and kills the mother and child of Poong Chun and the betrayed Seol Rang kills Poong Chun! Amazing! Then, after this script arrive to this amazing plot!, the story goes in a way where Seol Rang destroys her daughter life (Sul Hee)! In the process, there is a martial art master, an assassin that likes Sul Hee, etc
ACTING – not bad, but with a plot like this, the characters could not do better. I feel bad because they do not deserve a story like this.
MUSIC – bad
REWATCH – only if Seol Rang or her daughter put a sword in my neck!
OVERALL – I did not like it at all. Yes, some scenes pretend to be beautiful. However, with nonsense like this, even flying through the fields was not pleasant to see.

A beautiful love between 2 souls in all aspects of life. A beautiful portrait of a family too.
First, I want to say that I do not speak Chinese so it was hard for me this drama. It seemed that the dialogues must be amazing and the story richer than what I read. However, I watched this on Youtube and I really had the impression that the translation is not good nor accurate, maybe because of the A.I.STORY – interesting story, but too much of the revenge part. A beautiful love story, filled with understanding, empathy of 2 persons that share the passion about architecture and design. Nevertheless, revenge kept them apart for too long, because of a event that killed Mang Yan’s father.
Meng Yan is a genius architect that fell in love for Li Tian Zhen, an idealist designer that has a strong personality and is very competent. Both share the same philosophy about interior design and the fact that who is going to live and use the buildings and spaces are people and not prizes or beauty. They connect and love covers all spaces between them, until his past and revenge gets between them.
Since she has nothing to do with it, but being the daughter of his target (the father), Meng Yan does something stupid and they break up.
Tian Zhen’s brother, Lu Yi Ming loves Qiao Ke who was also adopt by Cao Yu (Tian Zhen’s mother). He takes care of her in the most sweet and unselfish way. He also roots for the main couple and helps everyone.
Qiao Ke has some scars and lacks confidence so she is afraid of been left alone by her adopted family. Everybody seems to know that he loves her except Qiao Ke.
Then, there is the father story, her family members and the struggle between love, past, forgiveness…
Being a part of the plot, most of the business companies was lost in translation.
Tian Zhen’s family dynamic is wonderful, even the divorced parents, the adopted brothers, the wonderful and mature mother, etc.
Do not understand the role and behaviour of Ding Yan Ming (rival Architect), and why the writer forget Guo Yuan Yuan (former Tian Zhen’s and Meng Yan’s boss) in some point.
ACTING – I think the acting was very good.
MUSIC – I like it, even if most of the show I watched in silent mode.
REWATCH – maybe one day, at least some of the first episodes if there will be a good translation.
OVERALL – I liked! A bit too long for me, a bit hard to follow because of the translation algorithm. However, the couple is wonderful, especially their connection in all aspects. You can feel the love when they are working together, talking about building design or just about themselves. The characters are mature (even Qiao…) and it is nice to see how they give space to grow, to heal and to support each other. One of the best C Dramas I have seen, I think my lack of Chinese culture can make me feel strange with some parts of these dramas, but I like it anyway.

A exceção é o Chucky, o boneco diabólico (desculpa-me Chucky!) do ator (ahahahahah!, ator...) Kim Yo Han.
