I enjoyed this show but I do agree is was really lacking. There's been a lot of critiques and reviews but im just gonna say im hung up on the fact that they're already engaged after 1 year of dating.

I just finished the show, and does anyone know what Hangyan means at the very end when she says, "Since we've met, I've lied to you about another thing" to Yunxi? I'm trying to figure out if I missed something of if she's talking about hiding her feelings.

Totally did not realize the show was about revenge 😂. That makes sense why I was thrown for a loop.

Ep 18 really just derailed drastically huh. I'm still enjoying the show but wow, did it take a turn. My brain hurts trying to keep track of all the double-crossing and switching sides. I need to take a break for a few days to take in all this information. Mind you, I only watched 2 episodes today.

I mean, I just finished ep 7 and he just feels so unncessarily mean towards the both of them, especially Po. "Don't think that Thame actually has feelings for you, you guys will never be together". My only theory is that he also likes Po but that's so shady to actively keep them apart even as a joke. He just seems like a jerk right now.

Jun is annoying me so bad to the point where it's hard to watch the episode

He looks like Billkin and Krit's child, like a perfect mix of both

I was hesitant in watching this drama, it took me a very long time to decide if I even wanted to watch it. I frankly found the beginning very slow and repetitive, it also annoyed me how formal they spoke to each other even after having met in person and started dating. Once they got together things started getting interesting and I absolutely adored their dynamic. They were just so soft and sweet for each other and I like how the conflict was logical and didn't drag out longer than it needed to. There was exponential improvement as the show kept going a had a very satisfying ending.

I'm also an indian and I just finished watching the show. I also had to same concern and was very hesitant to watch but i'm so glad I did. They were a few things that felt off about the cultural aspects of the show, but nothing was blatently disrespectful. I took it as a totally different culture with a lot of indian elements. The plot is actually really good in my opinion and the romance was great among the main leads. I'd say the hardest parts to watch are bad CGI but the outfits and styling of the show was done pretty good in my opinion.

i'm currently at the dream of aranya arc and I completely agree. I got bored so iv'e been skipping through but even the bits that i'm watch dont make sense. These episodes feel like so much filler for no reason and im considering skipping the whole arc altogether

Actually there is a little bit of a side romance with Lian Song and Cheng Yu. I wouldn't call them the second couple but they do have a lot of scenes

Couldn't have said it better myself. The main leads were perfect in understanding each other and one wasn't more intelligent than the other. There were perfect boundaries and the only miscommunication is them trying to express their feelings for each other but it was still fun to watch. They supported each other regardless of how high the stakes were and never once pushed the other to follow their lead, they just did so naturally. The ending was pretty good considering that most high fantasy cdramas end in tragedy so this was still bittersweet but not as cliche and heartbreaking.

There is a character in the novel named Linda. In the oxygen trailer it's the girl that says she is Solo's fiance which is quite different from her original role in the book.

I know right! She was completely irrelevant and I want them to at least have Solo's father get rid of her early on but I already know this is going to drag on for way longer than it needs to. Because from the trailer it seems like the drama will follow a lot from the novel, but Linda's role worries me a lot.
