The chemistry in the last scene of ep8 is insane! Can't remember the last time i've seen something so romantic... I melted into a puddle on the floor. Really hope CC won't do something nasty to WSW once he finds out about the revenge plan.
So Chi Cheng doesn't break up with Yue Yue to keep his snakes alive... but he also can't just sleep with wsw because he doesn't do fwb 😅... and there is also an ex involved... Oh boy, there's going to be so much angst. I honestly didn't expect this series to be so well written. The acting is amazing and the editing is also better than in the first episodes.
As much as I'm enjoying the series I'm worried about the Chinese censorship. They don't like us enjoying much.I…
it's also making me a bit anxious tbh. Plenty of Chinese people are probably watching this with a vpn and talking about it on their social media. It only finishes airing in August, so plenty of time for the government to take notice of it.
What a meticulously crafted story! Everything made sense from the first to the last episode. There were some questionable hairlines involved and I wish they did more of show don't tell... but nonetheless, I'm really looking forward to season 2.
Not a typical BL, but a queer story about a high schooler coming to terms with his sexuality in a conservative society. The acting and cinematography were top notch. Was I annoyed by the focus on the tennis stuff? Yes! Was the pacing uneven? Also yes...But I think this is still a series worth your time
Despite the fact that this is a censored adaptation and the fact that they decided to put out a even heavier censored version, this remains a incredible story worth watching. It's totally different from all the cookie cutter stuff China puts out these days. The dark aesthetic, the acting, the cinematography... I love everything about it. The sci fi element they added doesn't really bother me. Only the car scenes are a little bit goofy, because it's pretty obvious it's just a screen in the background.
I wonder if they kept the original ending from the novel. I feel like all danmei adaptations we got to see until now, all have a sad or ambiguous ending ...
it feels like Da On still has no idea how dangerous Su hyeon en Jae Min are after all they've done to him. Seong Hyeon pissed me off a bit this episode but after being rejected over and over again, and then Da On showing up with a hickey... I kind of get why he was ready to give up.
I'm rewatching this in preparation for the last 2 episodes next week. it's kind of crazy how much happened in only 6 short episodes. Really hope to see Da On happy and carefree for at least half an episode.
