I am a big fan of Black Butler-season 1(can't say the same about season 2). I love Hero, no doubt, but I just wished they chose someone taller for Kuroshitsuji.
I am an Asian and I used to watch only west made stuffs- drama, movies etc. There was occasional interjection of culture around me but it was insignificant. The values, the situations, the circumstances were so different than that around me but none the less I was addicted. It happened one day, I was watching HBO series "Girls" and I realized how different they are from me. Well I have also a gang of girls like them, same age, but our problems and worries are so different. I couldn't continue it though it was really well made, in fact I had trouble picking up any other drama.
Well as I can't go without watching anything I started watching Japanese/ Korean dramas. It's still not the same culture but it's not miles away either, it's a pleasant change. I have wrote that much cause your article to me was view from the other side of the river. It was much appreciated.
The set of movies at the start of the article is amazing - heard great things about them! And you are so right about "Full House", it was my first K-drama. OMO, what a horrible start! It took me a long time (A week XD) to start a new one!
