I have been putting off watching this drama because it has high reviews. I wanted to binge-watch it and OMG it is quite something. The best patriotic drama I have ever watched. As you see Eugene does not consider himself Korean at all but he protects people that are fighting for a country that did not protect him. It is amazing how much he loves Ae Shin to the point where he literally just goes back to Korea to help them in any way he can.
