That’s not what I meant about Koyama deserving someone better. I know Hira is not a terrible person for being honest to someone he doesn’t like, I guess I just worded it wrong but still, Hira knows he isn’t that of a good person either.

AND TO ADD!! this show is not necessarily about romance but it also talks about the way a person idolizes someone else like hira does with kiyoi. especially if u have read the novel (i did) u will understand everything from beginning to end. it was never mean to be a "healthy" romance
i finished reading the novel few hours ago and it was wholesome. it honestly isn’t so bad, yeah sure they are toxic but it’s just because they want it that way 🤷🏼♀️ each of them is at fault for that so i can’t accept how everyone is only blaming one. both hira and kiyoi manage to stop all the misunderstandings in the end and that’s good. they end up having sex after which is sooooo funny 😩 anyways don’t just blame one side because hira had way too many chances to lose all contact with kiyoi but he didn’t want to and so did kiyoi so it’s a 50/50 in toxicity from both. but again, hira is just a person with way too much low self-esteem and but it was funny all the thoughts he had! not mad at it i’m just enjoying it after i know how things will go for the next episodes.
