I'm only on episode 18, but I must say this one is visually stunning. The soundtrack is also so beautiful, it only adds to the scenes and bring more feelings to it. And, of course, the story until now is being very much enjoyable, some may consider it slow passed, but that's also the beauty of it, it is very contemplative in a way. I am very much in awe until now, and I think I will be until the very last episode. "Beautiful" is the only adjective I can find to describe this one, it is truly beautiful.
I've watched the Korean and the Japanese drama version of this story, and I never got to enjoy it, since in both versions the male lead was a huge - excuse my words - shithole, effing psycopath, of a character. So I was actually quite afraid of watching one more version of this story only to find myself getting extremely angry and stressed at their characters and relationship. BUT, this version finally allowed me to actually enjoy this story a little bit more, I actually didn't want to kill the male lead everytime he appeared on screen and didn't want to slap the female lead into reality all the time, too. And it's filled with truly very cute and funny scenes. In this version, you can see where the problems are, and you can see the character and relationship development happening. Thank you, Thailand, for making this story more humanized. Really enjoyed watching it.
This drama was wonderful to watch, though sometimes the female lead made me want to slap her back into reality. And Feng Teng is just beyond perfection, really.
Thumbs up for the male lead not being an asshole since the beggining, and thumbs up for the character development of the female ones!
Really enjoyed the development and evolution of the relationships, such a light and nice drama to watch, I'm glad I've found about it and decided to give it a try.
I loved this drama series, I really really hope they release a next season like people here are saying... I watched the first and the second season so fast, really enjoyed it, and I am so heartbroken with the ending, it left me with a bittersweet taste, I guess...
I've watched this first season so fast, now I'm rushing to watch the second! At first I thought people here were exagerating on how good this drama was, but I kept on watching untill the end of episode one, and then I found myself totally into it. I still have the second season, but I'm already missing it, ;_; Totally recommend it if you like this kind of drama! . . . (And I'm rooting so much for Ya Long! I sense there's something a bit dark and wrong with Si Yin? but maybe I'm wrong?)
I'm on episode 9 and I'm not bored at all, only shipping her with another guy as always. I must love to suffer, shipped her with Daichi on first season, now shipping with Natsu (I'm in love with him, help me). I'm feeling so frustrated.
No, to be honest I don't think so. I mean, something can be good and still not be your taste, right? Then, you can quite well say "well, it's not for my taste, but it isn't bad". I see people here saying it's bad, what I think it's not the case. (the acting and direction are not perfect or really good, but it isn't that bad either) One thing is not to like the kind of story and characters it has, the other is to say it's bad, because it is not of your taste~ I'm just saying this because I almost didn't watch it, since there's so many bad critics.
I don't get why everyone is saying the characters and the story are bad. I'm honestly enjoying it very much, it is actually quite realistic how the relationships are portrayed, at least now in the beggining. I'm already suffering waiting for the next episodes, lol
Hello! I've finished episode 18, watched all at once and I really liked this series! Can someone be so kind and explain if it's on hold? Because I see here it's supposed to be 30 episodes, but I could only find up to the 18th. Or it is still being produced? I need mooore! xD
I won't say it's the best, but it was quite enjoyable, had some good laughs and I'm kinda sad it's over.
Got really attached to the characters, there were some very meaninful parts that bring tears to my eyes, like more at the end, with Duk Hwa, I liked how the writters and actors dealed in a soft but deep way with the situation of the character.
For these little things, I don't agree with the people here saying it's a flat silly drama, but it isn't the best one, though.
Would recommend it, if you just want to pass the time. :)
More or less, it has an end to the story, but it's kind of an open end so... makes you wonder what happened after it, like the Scarlet Heart: Ryeo one, for example... x.x
I've never really watched such a long drama before. When I saw the second season was 36 episodes, I almost gave up. Now I'm already on episode 22 in just a few days, and sad it will be over soon. XD
At first I wasn't really into it, but I've just finished episode 3, and I found it really so nice and cute! I hope the next ones keep getting better! :)
Update:
So, I've finished season 1, and I'm surprised on how attached I got with the characters~
I really hope season 2 will have a happy ending, ><'
