STRESS that's how I feel each ep Many people said it's Dan who betrayed them but I just couldn't believe it and…
I was trying to see if it was him who shot, but I couldn't quite make it out. Was it actually? That's extra sad if that's the case. Because he already had so many regrets from shooting an innocent unarmed person, and then he goes and does the exact same thing again?
This episode was hella good. One of my favs...But damn it was intense and emotional.
Episode Thoughts:
I genuinely didn't expect Dan to betray them like that. And I wouldn't even call his last minute attack any kind of real redemption. While he was put into a very difficult situation it was still a disgusting betrayal. I really feel for Yok. Ugh. That said I'm not sure what his options were there if any. Knowing your family is at risk is hard...
Sean and White were super sweet this whole episode. I can't get over how adorable White looks in every single scene. Appreciate that they are communicating a lot, and listening to each other.
Also Tod and Black's on screen chemistry is nuts. I want to see more of that, but have a feeling it's done.
I like that we got to see both Eugene and Namo actively participating in protests. I like these girls. They aren't just there to be an accessory and that's very appreciated.
As an add on, Black asking Sean to take care of his brother in the preview....T-T.
Gun in his reaction in Jennie seemed to spill something important. When White drowned - Gun said it was warming…
I just saw this too and was wondering the same...if he'll maybe change his mind last minute and ask the gang to help with that mission, or if he will decide to give up on it altogether, or go the diplomatic route like White would for once. So many questions...
I had a super sad thought today, so don't read the rest of this if you don't want to think about a potentially sad ending. But know what would be worse than Black dying? Black going off continent before dying and White not feeling it at all/never knowing it happened. I'm hoping the ending isn't super upsetting. Don't think I can handle it at this point. I'm really attached to these characters. I'll have to live in fanfiction world for a while just to dig the salt out of my wounds if it is.
Well, we don't know for sure that there is a traitor or that they've been betrayed. That was just speculation…
My thoughts are basically that there isn't actually a traitor...but that they will be challenged to rely on the police, which is a difficult roadblock for Sean especially. At least...I'm hoping it goes well.
I refuse to believe Gumpa is a traitor when he's consistently offering up this sage wisdom to everyone in the gang each episode. He cares too much about all of them to betray them. I also refuse to believe Dan is a traitor. He carries too much guilt. I don't think that's a path he wants to tread again.
Episode 12 Thoughts: First of all I loved it omg. That first scene with Sean and White was heartbreaking, and then watching White basically hurt himself just to communicate his feelings to his brother in the only way he knew would work. Ughhhh. The SeanWhite handholding, the disgusting sweetness of it all (I live for it), Gumpa being the number one OG SeanWhite shipper looking smug af during the reveal. The ending was even more levels of sweet. Like Sean is in so deep for White it's unreal, he is in LOVE love. And even with the preview of next episode, White cuddling up to him in the car like that, I CAN NOT. But I just know this happiness is going to get crapped all over by angst and pain and stuff in the upcoming episode. And please Black don't do something stupid and get yourself killed. PLEASE I BEG.
Also I really wasn't expecting the whole White thing to get basically resolved in this episode, thought at the very least it would end with a cliffhanger in reference to that. But I am so relieved that we are beyond that roadblock now.
I know the preview is set up to make us believe Dan will betray them but I'm 99% sure this is all bait, and that is not what's going to happen. I think they'll just have to trust in law enforcement for once to get this accomplished, and that's where the struggle will be.
Side note: was not expecting the figures to be from Eugene, even though the thought crossed my mind once I was like but her name starts with E so why. But I guess Black must call her Gene, and they did sort of make a reference to White not calling her what he should have while impersonating Black. I don't hate that Gram is into Eugene, but I do feel bad for any GramBlack shippers out there yikes. It does seem like bad form to swoop right in like that though. And also feel bad for Black because he still loves her and hasn't been there for all of this drama and must be actually pretty hurt by this.
I was wondering if they moved away from GramBlack because it would be difficult to promote Gun in two separate pairings. BL corporate things, and so on.
Extra Side Note: Looks like OffGun are reacting to this episode with P'Jennie!
Ep 12 comes out in a couple of hours, and I need to admit, everyone gave up on gramblack but I still have hope.…
It's been confusing me lol...I mean the little note made it seem like such a sure thing, and why would he hang on to it if there weren't still feelings involved? I'm wondering if it has something to do with him feeling distanced from the White version of Black. And maybe once he sees actual Black is back those feelings will return in some way. I've had a whole lot of thoughts about this though...like that Black was originally the one who gifted that to him, and that's why he has the note, but maybe didn't accept the figurines. Or that it was actually from Gumpa and not Gram at all. But then why does Gram have the note? Maybe to protect Eugene? So many thoughts, not enough answers.
