check when they're fighting for the book in the MV, then take notice of the calligraphy, akk's reaction and what theo wrote there. i think the scenes are separate from each other, but once you connect the two dots, it makes sense haha

Title You're My Sky Spoiler
They're really giving it all on Dome and Vee's scenes, aren't they? The scene in the park, when Dome notices Vee from afar, and the scene on the stairs, once again meeting in the middle. I think it was peak romance for this show, seriously. I wasn't invested in them because I always find plots with cheating boring, and this show is such a calmness that I enjoy a lot, so I was overlooking them. But after this episode, I definitely won't anymore. They seem like they know exactly what they're doing, and Vee knows it's wrong. From the trailer, I know it's going to be messy, but now I want to know how messy, and how they end up in this mess when Vee wasn't that eager to.

Aii is slowly growing on me. I don't like characters who are so goal driven they forget how to properly treat people (see when he blasted off Saen when the poor guy broke his leg), but he's changing, and deliberately. It's quite organic, and I'm enjoying his development. I absolutely love Saen since the beginning, he's quirky, funny, and a sweetheart, without being overbearing. Now that Aii has a minefield to deal with, and that he's slowly but surely falling for Saen, I'm even more curious about what he's going to do next – is he going to be honest from the get go, or will he pretend nothing is happening and live a short fairy tale with Saen? Either way, Saen is going to get hurt, which is already making me sad... He deserves the world. ):

And I'm really liking the main couple, as controversial as it sounds, lol. They're so chill, there's not much going on with them, it's pretty much the distance that made them grow apart, though they're quickly making up for it, and team dynamics that can get in the way of their relationship, as Tohn is quite insecure about this, as we've seen not only in this episode, but past ones as well. I thought Fah would go through a hard time to accept his feelings for Tohn, and I'm positively surprised that he's handling it so well so far. He's not distancing himself from Tohn, but he's not ready to do anything about it either, which is quite sensible on his part. Tohn is my baby sunshine, he can do no wrong, and if anything happens to him, I'd chop some heads off, lmao.

Just a heads up that all of these are my opinions on what we have so far, you can think whatever. (:

but i think if they carried someone over the shoulder people would rage saying it's toxic, so... in any case, don't carry someone, just call an ambulance if they're hurt/passed out lol don't be like BLs folks it's just fiction!

but thanks for the amazing discussion, sharing your opinion and for being so respectful about it!

but i think the analogy here doesn't work, because if the partner cooks every single day the same dish they copied from the restaurant, then it's just the whole. what you're applying here is the part, it's the small things that are being overused over the thai BLs. i think it would be better if you used something like, tasting this very specific type of spice, i don't know, you can say jalapeño and then trying to apply it to every single dish. in some, it won't work because when you look at the whole thing it either doesn't make sense, or because you've been tasting it so many times now it's driving you insane.

i do understand this, and i do agree that some authors really don't want to branch out, but i don't think it's copying. i think, like the enemies to lovers, it became a trope, a cliché, and it's just being used from time to time. i think, though, and i agree with you, that it doesn't mean it's a bad thing, just overused, and if the author wanted, they could add some depth behind the action itself instead of just putting it there without meaning. but i don't think the authors want that, especially with shows like this, because it's not the point? i think in here, it was just picking up the cliché and using it as a resource of 'bonding time', you know? and it's still overused, of course, but it's still a device the author used.

but just joking around now, i think the piggy-back is safer than the bridal style lmao i prefer the piggy-back a million times over that

i think that's just a matter of personal opinion haha, you just don't like it because it's been there constantly, but other people find it cute. that's how things work, and writers end up writing about things that they like, not necessarily the audience, i personally think that writing or making art is much like cooking food: it's self-indulgent, but why not share it with others if you're making a banquet? maybe someone will like it, maybe they won't. and it's fine if they don't, they should simply stop wasting their own time then and not consume it any more. so yes, the writer isn't necessarily writing something original here, and if that's something that you don't like, then you shouldn't be bothered to care about their story. it's not like the writer is trying to cater to you, a person who doesn't like this kind of thing, so yes, why bother?

just making sure here that i'm not attacking you or anything! i'm just saying my opinion as much as you are.

i personally think it's kind of cute, there's a sense of intimacy in such a simple action that really captivates some people; it's like when they brush each other's hair (and this is a big deal in japanese culture), or when they cook for each other, it's small things that makes the character's heart flutter. but yes, people with short hair tend to not dry it because it'll dry out on its own eventually, unless it's like night and you don't want to get sick haha i have short hair so i just kind of dry the excess of water and let it dry on its own afterwards because i couldn't be bothered with taking such a long time to dry it x_x

the part of the blow-dry hair made me laugh out loud because just a few days ago i did this to my sisters, and they're much older than me hahaha so you can bet there's people out there still doing this, but i think it's more in a platonic sense than in a romantic one? i've never did this to my past partners and neither did they do this to me so...

webtoon? As far as I know this is from a game... and if it is a webtoon, I think it was a different couple in…
you can just replay the story from the beginning, or from where the connection to the route starts (the “taemin joins the council” episode). but to do that, you actually have to have 100% affinity with the character you want to follow the route, and for it to be accomplished, you need to spend gems on answers (and choose the character for the spring festival episode). with the free gems, you should be able to get to the route you want! i recommend saving about 400 gems, and then 200 so you can start the route.

It seems like people are taking away Daon's humanity a little bit and it's sad. We get to root for Shinwoo because…
it's kind of disheartening seeing people's comments about daon. i am rooting for shinwoo-taekyung, but the character i relate to most is daon because of his struggles of not allowing himself to be vulnerable because he needs to be the one to support everyone around him. just like him, i've had similar issues and it's really deep rooted, since childhood, and i know how hard it is to try and think of yourself, of your own feelings. i do understand it's easier to empathize with shinwoo, but that's because we know him by now, and we're seeing him change. he's willing to, it's not easy, but he is.

as for daon, i know it's damn hard. it isn't something that anyone can solve, not even taekyung with all his honesty can easily solve something so complex — and i like the show better for it, showing clearly that daon is struggling with who he taught himself to be because it's his way of coping, while also wanting to be with taekyung anyway; i can see his feelings are genuine, though he doesn't know what to do with them because there's too much around him, it's overwhelming —, and i really hope he can get better, learn how to open up and say no to others.

(on a side note, both him and shinwoo need therapy. that's it.)

you can find the game in an app called storypick! the drama follows the game's plot, not the webcomic. but haebit and taesung also have a spin-off in the game that you can play, and they hint through the game that taesung is interested in haebit etc (:

Tae Kyung is the first person who seems to be interested in what Da On feels. Everyone else just takes advantage…
i think everyone is making everyone realize things at once, taekyung being the center and catalyst of it all without knowing, and also changing himself in the process. the point of the title, i guess, “light on me”, is “to shine a light on me”, or even in the sense of “i have a light on me (and i will share with you)”, sort of? because each one of them has something to teach the other, directly or indirectly, and i'm really liking the show so far because it's really building on the surroundings of the characters, how each character affects the other. i really enjoy shows that focus on character growth overall haha.

but i'm also kind of worried about daon's reaction once he realizes that shinwoo is also interested in taekyung. will he back off? will he realize that there's too much at stake (his friendship with shinwoo, sohee's feelings, the uncertainty of a relationship with taekyung going the right way, his friendship with taekyung, the nice atmosphere they have right now in the council), and decide that he can't allow himself this one thing? or will he think of himself for once? or will he be overcome with guilt and think he's being selfish, and he can't allow himself to be selfish? at this point in time i think everyone will get hurt, but if the beginning of the first episode is any indication, they get through all of this and remain friends, and that's honestly what i want to see more than the romantic relationships tbh.

Your comment made me want to watch this. I'm sort of interested in don't say no but I want tharntype to remain…
i thought it was pretty helpful to summarize what happened with leofiat in S2, there were some confusing things, but a quick search was enough to know the whole context (which was too tied to tharntype's plot, so i sort of understand why they left it out, but it was kinda important to understand fiat and leo's reaction), and they were so cute through the whole thing... i think it's worth a shot, especially to see if you really want to see what comes next for them in don't say no!
