I have been seeing screenshots with spoilers from next eps but htf?? like that wasnt in the trailers, where are…
there’s leaked scenes and there’s also the fact that it’s based off a novel, so people who read it would have a general idea of what’s going to happen (if that’s what you’re talking about)
Was this even shown in China? Gay no but lesbian yes?
these are different. Queer dramas are not allowed mainstream (gay/lesbian/etc) this drama is a short one produced by bilibili. (usually these dramas are 5mins - 20mins) It’s not mainstream. Even in these the characters do not physically kiss/explicitly have a relationship.
I see you have not watched Yaoi in the first place :D...The first minute of this drama is actually one of the…
Damn I actually thought you stopped and gained some knowledge. Apparently not.
Go search up why and how rape in tv shows/media is harmful in real life. Go read at least 7 articles and lok. at things that actors say.
Obviously some shows are complete fantasy and can’t /won’t be brought into real life. While others (such as In Your Heart) demonstrates a relationship that grows because of sa. And after you realize what this show is about, and read articles on why it’s wrong you should come back. Honestly I’m completely done with this conversation and do not feel like talking to a full, grown, ass adult about why sa is wrong.

here’s a part of an article to help you get this through your head.
“Not only does the media’s depiction of sexual assault impact the audience’s vision of victims of sexual assault, it also affects the way they see the abuser.”
“By glamorizing sexual assault and rewarding abusers in television, the media could be inspiring potential abusers.”
“Glamorizing sexual violence in the media has resulted in normalizing it for young viewers. Experiencing sexual assault can even be a defining aspect of a victim in television, making cold, “bitchy” characters appear more human because of their assault. Characters that are sexual abusers are often rewarded by getting the girl and overcoming their challenges in television and film. This depicts sexual violence as acceptable and attractive behavior on and off screen. Research indicates that constantly watching abusers in the media instills the idea that sexual assault is normal.”

lmfao, clearly you’re the uneducated one. Did you not understand a single thing that I said. SA IN SHOWS IS WRONG, that is final.
“What I will defend is the right to sexual expression and sex positivity” I don’t care if people have sex or anything, what I do care about is people doing it without consent.
what positive part is there in kissing/having sex with sometime without their consent. In which part of this show and many others do they explain why it’s wrong? Hmm, there is no explanation (ex. Love in the Air, TharnType, In Your Heart, Cutie Pie, Addicted Heroin, and Love Mechanics) All of these shows has SA in them to “thicken” the plot, help develop a relationship, or even get characters to realize feelings for each other. And none of them explain why it’s wrong. There are almost never an apology or a showing of how people feel after it happens.
I’m not trying to censor your shows, or demonetize them. There IS sa in them and that is a fact. I am pointing it out and stating that it’s wrong.
You seriously need to do research on this topic. Go read articles on why it’s wrong, look at people opinions, and look at why it’s wrong.

Calm down there Bri, stop trying be a smart ass and actually listen to what I was saying.
1. I’ve watched a lot of dark shows and I enjoy them, most of the time. So I’m not trying to make all “immortality” censored/unwatchable.
2. Just because something if fictional doesn’t mean that it’s okay. And because it’s fictional doesn’t exactly mean that it’s harmless (ex. rape)
3. Yes, everyone does have their own preferred genre and that’s 100% alright... So I’m not gonna stop someone for watching what they like. Like I physically can’t, and even if I could I wouldn’t. Come on that’s literally common sense.
4. Some people (such as me) wonder why certain shows are hated as much as they are. Making them decide to watch it. For me, if i hate a show (ex.1 cutie pie) I’ll continue to watch it either for a certain actor or a side couple. (ex.2 In Your Heart) and if I find a minor thing that I hate then I’ll continue to to watch it to see if the issue gets fixed.
5. I can comment about hating/not liking a show if I want to. Is there an issue with that?? No, there isn’t. I don’t usually talk/comment about shows I don’t like (ex. This one) HOWEVER if someone defends something such as rape then I will not sit back. It’s literally common sense. Just because something if fictional doesn’t mean that it isn’t harmful.
Next time use your brain when replying to my comment ;)

alright alright, I seriously don’t feel like arguing with you anymore, since you won’t understand why the term yaoi is harmful.
1. Obviously when I say 90% of my time I exaggerating. 90% of the time I’m working, doing school, and taking care of my family. Only 10% of my time I’m watching shows/reading. And most of that 10% is me watching mlm/wlw dramas. I clearly say “wlw & mlm” so I watch both not just Bl like you said.
2. I understand how the Bl/Gl industry works. Using so called “perfect” actors it’s not that common actually. There are accurate l(g)btq+ films such as Your Name Engraved Herein which has accurate mlm representation. Ocean Likes Me is a film that has a gay actor in the cast (Holland) I admit the series does have a whole bunch of women that only watch for sex scenes and kisses, and that are homophobic when it comes to real same sex relationships. Which are absolutely disgusting. There are countless shows that have good representation, nice actors, and have actual conflicts between characters (figuring out their sexual identity)
3. When I say the term fetishizing I don’t mean exactly you, I mean the term itself and the group of people who do fetishize the relationships (ex. only watch shows for kiss scenes, criticize actors looks, only watch the sex scenes, are homophobic in real life, and don’t care about the actual plot.)
4. Finally, rape is still rape even if it’s “fictional” it doesn’t matter if it’s not real, it’s giving light to a situation that isn’t positive.
That’s all, I really don’t feel like conversing with you anyone cause I’m tired, and you don’t fully understand the meaning of what I’m saying :D

It’s doesn’t matter if you are an activist, have a lgbtq+ child, or even if you’re part of the community, if you’re not specifically mlm/nbmlm. IT DOES NOT MATTER. (When it comes to this topic) The term makes people of the community uncomfortable. And with everything you said you’re making it seem as if you’re OBSESSED with mlm relationships. Which is clearly not a good thing.
These types of endings are starting to piss me off can we sapphics have a happy ending for once?? they're kinda…

1st off, were not talking about rape fantasy or any roleplay domsub type situation. That is wayyy different then actual rape in shows.
“Demonetizing us” may I ask who is “us??”
“Accusing” ma’am/sir... go get some information before you even try to come back and continue this dumb argument.
