Hong Ye Ji is always the best in historical dramas - so is Kim Joo Heon. I wanted to wait until all episodes were aired before I watched it, but then I almost forgot about it because I'm watching 3 daily shows... Thank goodness for the Olympics. I would not have gotten to it until later. It is a perfect binge-watch.

Just as well as the Leads.

I think that I get it now. U Ri was the firstborn of his mom from another relationship, and she got remarried.
HJT wanted to get rid of him after she had his son to make their son the sole heir.
If you cut out the filler episodes, I don't think this should go to 120 episodes... maybe 40.
There was so much that I cleared up on my own before I got to episode 30

I didn't skip not one episode! This drama is so good... it starts off a little over the top, but thats ok.
One of the best that i have watched this year... now that i have it off of my list i am so satisfied

ISTG... if they say that her face has changed so much again, I'm going to flip... it would have made more sense to have two different actresses play the role, because nothing changed but her hair and those big ass glasses that they put on her.

Ma Ri is the only character that i see who will have progression. But it won't be until after she finds out that Woo Ri is her son. I'm hoping that they will reveal that soon.

This is going to drag for 120 episodes... and when i say drag... they are dragging TF out of this show.

I'll look into those out. Thanks. I wanted to watch something else of hers just to see her acting.

If this was given a diffwrent name maybe i would have had different expectations. The FL is so stiff... i was thinking that maybe this is her first Lead role, but its not. Plus there atr so many different support roles it was hard to keep up with who is who at first.
I'll keep with it until the nezy two episodes air to see how the story develops.

Right, I think that the three moms have an important role in the story, some characters could have been left out.

Sometimes a little violence is ok... (just a little) 🤣. She is bad but not as bad as the women in that house when it comes to their mouths. She's just more conniving and greedy.

I was about to drop this show because there are so many characters that i just couldnt stand including the FL..
But i had to think... she worked hard and really didnt have any friends, so a person will keep things bottled up. I still can't stand the sister ... I can't wait until she gets what's coming to her.

Me also. I know that there is so much more to come, but let me tell you... 51 minutes into episode 27... that grandma should have got punched in the mouth... i hate her character the most
