It's never a 9.4 drama to begin with . Its a good drama which show the struggle of a Korean woman throughout her life . All the male in this drama is borderline green to the point it looks like they were Simping . All the Female have their own red flag . The drama also focus on parenting while both the Leads failed as parents . FL who have gone through much because of her parents wouldn't able to become a better parents herself . She was good for her daughter but not for her sons. Daughter was a ungrateful brat who only nag at their parents for not being rich to the point she always ask her mother if she is happy after marrying her dad . Imagine questioning the greenest flag in the drama .if anyone I think ML deserve much better than fl . Their son sacrifice much more for them than their daughter despite the fact they only care about their daughter. It was constant nagging and hardship . They were never truly happy throughout the drama .

That's the problem first they normalise it and then start shaming people who have morals . Sleeping around was a shameful things then people normalise it in thee name of freedom and liberation and then they started shaming people who are not doing that . Same is happening with cheating and all . Cheating is so normalise that if you have good relationship people assume you are cheating on the side .

It's only been justified here because it's done by leads . If any side character or Villain have done the same things people wouldn't have not been so open minded about it . I always see this people love to defend their fav Actor or leads in the name of bs . If ML stalk FL it's love and dedication but when a villan do the same thing it's crime .

Then she left him and again marriage him . His mother was right. He left the scholarship because of her . I have watch everything it's you who need to see all those red flag . His life would have been much better if he had never married her . If I was born in that world I would have been more understanding but definitely won't have become Simp like him . He also have to endure many things because of her .

FL was total selfish . Who did everything for herself while ML was total Simp who did everything for her . They were horrible parents and their daughter were a horrible kids . They sacrifice everything for her and she still was not thankful for that and always saw her father as a weak poor man whose mother deserved better but people the portraying this drama as some revolutionary Kdrama . Almost all the Male were Simp in this drama and almost all the Female were toxic and abusive .

8.5 for this ?? Oppa lover have ruined the rating system in MDL .prior to 2020 this was really good site to judge a drama and even comments were very rational but after 2020 this site is ruined . Every average drama have 8.5+ rating .

Dot say this oy you will gonna be attack ?? ML was total Simp . He got treated like a lamb and still didn't leave . FL regreted marriage with him. Even try to marry someone else . If he had gotten a good offer she would have married that person instead of ML . They only care for their daughter and left the sons unattended. One died because of this and other son have to take responsibility in early age .even their Son ask them why they didn't love him like his sister . They have to sold their house and what not for the daughter and that daughter still treat them like trash while they didn't care about their son and he was the only one sacrificing everything for them .

This got hype because it has two Simp ML and sellfish FL which women like the most . Almost all the ML in this drama were treated badly . Sons wife beat him , FL was toxic and Daughter was brat but they got married to Simp and Naive ML , Their Son was also too soft and then their Son in law who was more emotional than a pregnant lady and women love this bs . When I was watching the drama I always thought if FL would've been in ML position would she has choosen him ?? And I think the answer is nope . They were laud as a great parents while they ruin two sons life . They were a great couples but always lived through difficulty. Even I thought they both married wrong .

Movies usually don't do good in Korea compare to dramas . KMovie is not very famous world wide . That's why we now get 6 episode drama to milk the audience. They know even if it will be mid . It will earn them enough.

The rating system in 2000 was fair and that's why only very few have rating over 8.5 and 9 from that era . Look at the rating system now every above average have a rating of 8.8 and 9+ . So nope . 8 is preety average rating anything below that is flop and anything above that is average .

There is difference between popularity and great drama . Marvel and DC are quite famous and even do really good at box office that doesn't mean they are the best . His lastest drama are flop and that's why it's not getting the recognition.
