And why do you think so?

Fans have started a petition to ask Youku and Netflix to release the 8 deleted episodes (or a Director's Cut) to fix the pacing. It’s already past 1K signatures, but it needs 10K so media sites will pick it up and get the platform's attention.

Everyone, this is serious. Please please please sign the petition for the deleted or unreleased episodes or scenes of The early spring. We are stuck in 1000+ signatures, we need to get atleast 10,000 signatures to write an article about it. Based on the popularity of the show we need to make this petition popular too. I'm begging you to sign it and share it to your friends, Please please do something. Put a story on your Instagram. Make the petition viral.

Yes I did but no reply. I think china is very strict regarding their censorship lol. But if lots of fan come together and do something then we can make it happen. But many people aren't aware of the petition lol. And many would have given up due to second thoughts.

Yes, I agree! I think Youku could potentially provide/license the unreleased episodes to Netflix, since they produced the drama. I’ve already emailed the petition to Youku, so hopefully they’ll consider it. The more we make them aware of international demand, the better!
