not everything revolves around the U.S. It’s arrogant to assume Korean politics can’t exist without American influence. you’re worried about the US being involved in Korean politics, but American dramas constantly show the US meddling in other countries affairs or pushing for wars. the show is literally showing us that from a Korean perspective.
