The way I cried at the end!! What a beautiful movie!! I can't believe I hadn't watched this till now in spite of it being in my to watch list since a long time..It captures the essence of first love and all the awkward and cute things associated with it. Part funny, part romantic and part heartbreaking the movie never fails to keep you entertained throughout its runtime. Baifern is a wonderful actress and never fails to amaze in anything she does. To see that she was so talented right from her starting days is not a surprise considering the powerhouse performer she is today. Her eyes alone convey so many emotions. Mario Maurer as Shone is extremely handsome and a perfect boyfriend material. The confession scene towards the end was heartbreaking and the twist right after though a little predictable was so poignant and heartwarming. The supporting cast does an excellent job in making the movie very relatable and special mention should be given to Nam's friends and the drama teacher. It has definitely made a place in my all time favorite movies and I will surely rewatch it multiple times!!
A beautiful coming of age film which should not be missed!!! Also, for a film made 14 years ago, it has a surprisingly good kiss between the main leads which is way better than the kisses we see in a lot of BLs in the current times
Ok so obviously i started watching for mark and kit and their scenes are absolute gold but the remaining series was very hard to watch and at a point i was just skipping and watching markkit scenes..for just markkit scenes i would rate it 9/10 but overall it was a messy affair!!!
I loved it...I can see the appeal now..it was sooooo funny... i laughed out so hard in most of the scenes!! But that ending...the revelation..it broke me!!!!
I rarely give bad reviews and i really tried liking it ...i did..but somehow it felt bland to me..the chemistry just didn't work and I just could not relate or sympathize with the character of Mafuyu....can anyone tell me if the anime is better coz I really loved the concept of healing a broken heart through musical expression and such but the execution here just did not work for me...so let me know if the anime is better and I will give it a try!!
People complaining about the lack of sex scenes or intimacy...why are you wasting your time on a drama ...go watch porn instead!!! SOTUS is and will remain a legend in the BL world!! a true masterpiece!!
