I like as the writer didn't make BYJ a pitiful character, but one with great control of his situation despite having a sad past😭😭. He is still cheerful and knows how to learn from his mistakes and move on. And the supporting characters are supper awesome. This drama is just beautiful.!
NJH range in EP2 is insane 😭😭😭. I cried so much during this episode. The ending scene should be recorded in Kdrama history. KTR continues to do soo well in acting 😍😍
You need to realise that character critisism and acting criticism are different things,people often mix these.
It seems some people just want to make it a KTR vs NJH fan war. Because i can't see why they are soo early to judge in just One episode that centred mostly on a character.

Actually, i think everyone's expectations for NJH is probably soo high that they fail to appreciate how he is adapting to different roles without repeating any trace of his the previous works. If it was another Alist actor, this kind of critic won't even come yo light. Anyways, I get your point now after much thought and consideration. I just hope he shuts the critic in the next episodes to come.

If you still can't point out where he is lacking in acting at episode 1, then i don't see how your point becomes relevant here. It's a great thing to praise KTR for her acting because obviously EP1 was definitely about Hee Do. But you wanted BYJ to give the same "chaotic Energy" as NHD just to match up her acting doesn't sound logical. Besides we haven't gotten into BYJ's story yet! Stop looking for loopholes where there is none and enjoy the drama.

NJH to up his acting in what sense? He is playing his character just well in the first episode . Just that he doesn't have more scenes yet. Not all characters can be as chaotic as Na Hee doo.
