Now you calling the viewers dumb is so uncalled for!. How can you blame the viewers when the father of MC wasn't revealed? There were a lot of elements that made viewers hopeful. Even I my self felt they won't end up together at first , but looking at some elements and the onscreen chemistry gave way to some doubts for me. So stop being toxic and let people say their honest opinions. Besides no matter how good a story writing is, if it's not potrayed well, it's gonna loose it's value.

No one is creating any controversies here. In fact I was actually among those who gave accolades to the writer and directors. Yes, the writing did have some flaws, and it's not a bad thing if it does. It's doesn't discredit the whole writing. Besides I made a constructive criticism on why there were flaws. And besides, even the actors gave their 2 cents on how they felt about the ending which resonate with the viewers. So why are you soo worked up?

If you noticed from the first interview 2521 cast first gave, they were asked if their real personal traits are in sync with their 2521 characters. KTR said at first it was 💯 in sync but later, as the drama goes by, it wasn't anymore. And I felt she was talking about the last 4 episodes. Also NJH just said 20%. Was in sync. That also says a lot as well. Although it may not be related to the point. It's my personal opinion.
At first I praised 2521 writer, but I think we are giving the writer too much praise. More accolades should be given to NJH and KTR. Firstly, the writer originally wrote yijins's character to be a cold and Tsundere kind of character, I believe doing this would have made viewers feel less bothered about Beakdo break up. I feel, Yijin being a cold character might be to cliché. And would have less impact to the story as a whole. But NJH really brought out his own idea of how Yijins's character should look like and this really brought a new dynamics to Beakdo's overwhelming chemistry. And KTR was able to resonate perfectly with yijin. But despite the clever adjustments and changes from NJH's part , this expose the flaws of the writer as we see later in the last 4 episodes. The Yijin we once knew became a little different. His principles were breached and he wasn't as 'open' as he used to be. Also heedo's determination to always fight for what she loves somehow was ignored by the writer. She wasn't able to even fight for her love. Before I used to give a lot of praises to directors and writers, which of course some do deserve. But 2521 has given me a lot of exposure that Actors and Actresses who understands their characters deserves even more accolades. One thing for sure is that both NJH and KTR wanted a happy ending. Because they saw those flaws. Maybe the writer never knew that the chemistry between NJH and KTR will be too strong.
