Just me thinking though, but I still don't get while you are disappointed. As a reporter, do you expect him to side her on National TV. When the whole of Korea felt betrayed?. For the record, what Yurim did could serve as a betrayal to the nation and that's a fact. But we understand it from her point of view that she had to make that decision. Which I also applaud her for being brave. And also could feel her pain. But we could also see the struggle Yijin had to face to report a news of his dear friend. Despite his family going bankrupt, Yijin still went to visit Yorim and her mum and asked after them. They were very close. He couldn't even say goodbye to her because of that guilt. 2521 is about the reality youth faces. And as viewers we should clearly see when decisions are needed to be made by characters vividly. And besides we shouldn't forget that no character is perfect. This is one of the reasons I'll continue to love 2521.

Actually, Those who were blaming heedo's mum were doing it out of emotions. They never understood her POV. I was among those defending her actually. But I guess people actually blamed her for not being there for heedo. Not actually the reporting part.
Why do I feel the Writer is doing more justice to the female characters than the male's?. Like, we were able to get character development from the three female leads equally. But can't say the same for Yijin or Ji Woong. For example, Ji Woong is supposed to be an influencer, we didn't get to see his journey as one or something unique to him. But most scene is him being crazy about Yurim? What about his relationship with his mum? Also Yijins's journey as a reporter is lacking. His character isn't well justified enough. Most of his scenes are with him helping heedo through her journey as a fencer but his journey as a reporter is only to corroborate heedo. I guess this drama should have more than 1 seasons because this story is too beautiful to be told in one season.

Even if Yurim and Ji Woong ends together, the drama will be a waste. We've been invested in Beakdo since the beginning. And the writer just want to do them Dirty at the end seems illogical ? I have always been saying this that Yurim character is meant to be the actual female lead. Her story seems more interesting and unique than the FL. No offence. But then again, the writer has a way of making every character very unique in their own way.
I don't knew if you guys noticed but Yijins's character is the most complex to actually potray. I really applaud NJH for giving a very unique side to Yijin.

You have to look at the country and the era before you call it improper journalism. Things in the journalism world has changed a lot. Its wasn't so in that time and besides South Korea is know for their toxic Journalism. It's nothing new. Also I do not say you hate Yijin. And besides you said you were disappointed with Yijin.
